He immediately demanded, “May I have your name and the purpose of meeting the president? At the very least, allow me to inform them first!”
At that moment, the previously tough and arrogant demeanor of the leading man instantly vanished but was substituted with a tone of awe and reverence.
“My name is Isaac Garten, also known as Lord Garten, from the Kingdom of Vriweth. That’s all you need to know,” Isaac said coldly.
“Lord Garten, we’re three to four days away from Royal City. Please come with me to rest for a while. I’ll report it and get back to you.”
Isaac and Bellatrix then followed the leader down quickly and entered a four or five-story loft.
In a hall with walls inlaid with luminescent stones, they followed the leader inside. Inside, they were quickly approached by a burly man dressed in a black cloak together with two women.
“What brings Lord Cartney here? Please have a seat.” The man dressed in a black cloak said with a beaming face.
Sean Cartney responded, “Take good care of Lord Garten with the best you can.”
“Lord Garten, this is the best tavern in Bloomless City. Please have a rest and I’ll be back soon…”
He then quickly led his people out of the main hall.
Isaac and Bellatrix didn’t dare take any food although they were served with nice draught and dishes.
“Isaac, why don’t we just kill them? They are so weak.” Bellatrix glanced over and spoke with displeasure. She felt it was too troublesome.
“We’re here to rescue people. I could easily kill them and they could easily kill Lucifer,” Isaac said calmly.
Seeing the man in the black suit carrying a jug of beer walking toward them, Isaac turned around and said, “We aren’t hungry, but I have a few questions for you.”
On the other side, after leaving the tavern, Sean took off into the sky at speed.

In the center of the basin, there were about four or five exquisite loft buildings surrounded by high walls where Sean was flying to the loft located in the middle of them.
On the rooftop of the loft, a tall and sturdy middle-aged man dressed in an elegant tunic was sitting cross-legged and cultivating under the moonlight.
The tawny energy was swirling around the man before it was swiftly sucked into his body with his mouth and nose.
Sean didn’t dare to get too close. Instead, favonovel.com knelt on one knee and waited quietly.
Not long after, the middle-aged man sitting cross-legged on the rooftop asked in a deep voice, “I heard someone broke in from outside?”
Sean immediately nodded and said, “Yes, they killed one of our defense guards. Right now, they’re at the Mizner Tower. There were two of them which were extremely powerful… Well, it’s actually one person and two demons.”
“One person and two demons? How strong are they?”
Sean frowned slightly and said in a serious tone, “At the very least, favonovel.com is stronger than you. He said favonovel.com wants to meet the president.”
