Soon, the white demon beast flew in again. It carried a wooden bowl in its mouth and headed toward the bed.
The white demon beast stood on Isaac’s chest, its small reddish eyes stared at Isaac and made a woo-woo sound that resembled a kitten’s meow.
“You want me to drink this?” Isaac frowned warily at the small demon beast in front of him, which was still in its demon beast form but seemed to possess some level of spiritual wisdom.
The white demon beast nodded.
After much hesitation, Isaac struggled to lift his right hand and get the small wooden bowl from its mouth. He painstakingly raised his head to see the rich green somewhat like a medicinal soup. It had a strong and fishy odor.
Isaac brought the wooden bowl to his lips and slowly drank the green medicinal soup inside.
A strong chill spread from his mouth to his stomach. In fact, Isaac wasn’t worried that the green medicinal soup was poison because if this demon beast and the people outside wanted to kill him, they wouldn’t need to go through such trouble.
However, after this intense chill entered his stomach, Isaac quickly frowned.
The piercing cold started to turn into heat and the temperature was rising within him. The warmth spread from his abdomen then to his internal organs and then extended to every part of his body.
Isaac frowned and began to take breaths, but favonovel.com could clearly feel that his injuries were healing rapidly.
As a strong wave of drowsiness hit him, favonovel.com slowly closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
By the time Isaac woke up for the third time, the sun had already set outside. He carefully felt his body and noticed that the pain had completely gone away, though his power core was still completely depleted of spiritual energy.
Isaac quickly sat up. He frowned as favonovel.com got out of bed. He was confused. He remained cautious as favonovel.com walked out of the wooden room.
When Isaac stepped outside onto the stairs, favonovel.com saw a vast lawn in front of favonovel.com covered with many flowers and plants that had never been seen before.
The small white demon beast was lying on the grass with its paws pressing down and gnawing on an iridescent little flower.
At first, Isaac didn’t notice anything wrong. However, when favonovel.com took a closer look, favonovel.com realized that the white demon beast was actually chewing the Immortal Flower!
He widened his eyes as favonovel.com saw the white demon beast surrounded by exuberant Immortal Flowers.
On his right, under the unknown fruit tree was an elderly man dressed in a loose blue tunic who was sitting with his eyes closed and meditating.
As Isaac shockingly gazed at the elderly man, the old man noticed favonovel.com and slowly opened his eyes. He looked at Isaac and calmly said, “Young man, you’re finally awake?”
Isaac slowly walked over to the elder, favonovel.com cupped his hands in a gesture of respect and said, “Thank you, sir, for saving me…”
“There’s no need to thank me. If you want to thank someone, thank Esther. It was favonovel.com who wanted me to save you,” the old man said while glancing at the small white demon beast.
“Besides, I haven’t seen anyone for nearly 400 years, so you’re quite a novelty.”
Isaac was taken aback and immediately rushed toward the old man. He was stunned to find out the elder man was not a demonic beast.
He asked, “Sir, you… You aren‘t a demon beast?”
Isaac didn’t sense any trace of demonic spiritual energy from the old man.
“Who says the Kingdom of Demons must be full of monsters?” The old man chuckled and stood up.
Isaac’s eyes were wide open in shock.
Berchy had previously told favonovel.com that the Spirit Mountain was home to the demon ancestors, and even the Demon Emperor wouldn’t dare to enter it without permission.
It was a fact that the Demon Emperor indeed didn’t dare to come in. But, the demon ancestor was a human!
The old man was smiling when favonovel.com walked up to Isaac and said, “You are the first human to reach Spirit Mountain. As a fellow clan member, I don’t have much to give you… Take some of this Immortal Flower with you. You can also consume one or two plants. It will help you recover your spiritual energy.”
Isaac never expected that while the entire Kingdom of Demons had only one Immortal Flower, here it was as common as everyday plants.
Isaac walked over to the small white demon beast and crouched down. The little demon beast looked up at Isaac, then lifted its paw and placed it on an Immortal Flower.
