Zeux quickly moved to the cabinet behind the screen, his eyes looking onto the seventh drawer. His face immediately lit up with excitement, and his breathing became rapid.
He finally got his hands on his father’s demon core.
He stepped forward, harnessing demonic spiritual energy, and yanked open the stone drawer, only to find it completely empty Inside.
Zeux narrowed his eyes and turned to look at the seven-tailed blue wolf beside him.
“What’s wrong, Your Highness?”
“The demon core is missing, father’s demon core…”
