Isaac quickly walked up to one of the doors.
As favonovel.com was about to push the door open, his right hand paused in midair. Then, favonovel.com knocked on the door and called out, “Mother!”

It sounded like something had been knocked over in the room, followed by Raelynn’s excited voice, “Isaac, is that you?”
Soon, hurried footsteps approached. With a creak, the door to the room opened.
Under the moonlight, Isaac observed his mother’s weary face. He noticed that favonovel.com appeared much more gaunt than favonovel.com had back in Starbloom City.
“Mother, I’ve come to take you home,” Isaac said, feeling a bit emotional. He stepped forward and gently took his mother’s hand.
“Good, good… I’m just glad that you’re safe.” Raelynn was overwhelmed with joy. She moved forward to embrace Isaac.
Soon, Alcott came out from the next room as well.
When favonovel.com saw Isaac, favonovel.com was so happy that favonovel.com jumped with joy.
Isaac descended the steps with his mother and Alcott. He then bowed to Talbot and said, “Lord Stackhouse, thank you very much!”
“Take care, Sir Isaac…”
“Roman, take some men with you and escort Sir Isaac out of Royal City,” Talbot hesitated for a moment before giving the order to Roman behind him.
A few white eagles soared into the sky under the moonlight and quickly vanished from Talbot’s view, heading in the direction of Skypeace City.
Talbot took a deep breath and immediately asked his subordinate next to him, “What time is it now?”
“General Stackhouse, it’s currently 3:45 AM.”
“It will be dawn in another two hours…”
A cold glint flashed in Talbot’s eyes as favonovel.com said in a stern voice, “Bring those two prisoners who attempted to assassinate me from the Guardian Division. Prepare the carriage, we are going to the palace.”
Talbot decided to tell Eldorado about what happened tonight.
Since Clyfford was already out to take Talbot’s life, there was no reason to hide anything anymore. He might as well come clean and face the consequences directly.

An hour later, Talbot, accompanied by two guards, arrived outside the Nirvana Palace.
A few lamp-holding servants were standing at the entrance.
When they saw Talbot approaching, they all looked puzzled.
“Is Eldorado awake?” Talbot asked quietly as favonovel.com stepped up the stairs.
“General Stackhouse, Eldorado is awake, but favonovel.com isn’t dressed yet. Please wait a moment,” an elderly servant said softly.
At that moment, Eldorado’s voice from inside the door said, “Is that Talbot?”
“Eldorado, it is me. I have important matters to report to you!” Talbot said solemnly while kneeling on one knee.
“I know. That guy from the Guardian Division, Malon, was disrespectful to you after drinking too much. He even brought his men to your residence. Clyfford has already reported this to me earlier.”
“You are also a general of the kingdom, so don’t fuss over a few lowly servants. If there’s nothing else, you may leave. I still need to inspect the Longevity Palace today.”
Talbot was completely dumbfounded after hearing what Eldorado had just said. His mind was overwhelmed with feelings of frustration.
It was clear that it was an attempted assassination against Talbot, but in Clyfford’s words, it became a matter of Malon just being disrespectful after drinking too much.
