Isaac felt a sense of wonder as favonovel.com looked at the massive carriage, which was as big as a house, being pulled by hundreds of Storm Chasers.
When favonovel.com entered the carriage, Elon was sitting on a velvet chair, staring directly at him.
Suddenly, Elon’s face broke into a smile, and then favonovel.com burst out laughing.
“What are you laughing about, Commander Ramirez?”
“I knew it, I knew it wasn’t Zeno! It was you, it had to be you!” Elon said with a laugh, as the spiritual energy within favonovel.com began to surge.
Isaac, with his hands behind his back and a light chuckle, walked over and sat down in front of the desk where Elon was seated. He then poured himself a cup of tea, and gulped it in one go.
“Elon, even if you try to make a move, you aren’t capable enough to keep me here. I’m here to talk with you, to give you a way out,” Isaac said calmly.
“A way out? What kind of way out can you offer for my 370,000 soldiers?”
“Surrender…” Isaac said softly.
Elon paused for half a second, then burst into laughter again.
“Hahaha! Surrender? I knew it would come to this. After we surrender, you’re going to take all our soldiers to the Royal City, right? Would Eldorado listen to you?”
Isaac sneered and said, “Elon, since you are the great commander of the Kingdom of Easteria, you should know that if I were Eldorado’s man, I wouldn’t have killed Zeno…”
“You killed Zeno?” Elon narrowed his eyes.
“You can look into this matter later. Right now, you should command the entire army to lay down their arms and surrender, and then…” Isaac leaned over and whispered into Elon’s ear.
Elon’s expression changed before favonovel.com looked up at Isaac and asked, “Are you saying my Black Tiger Legion will never be transported to the Royal City?”
“With 400,000 people needing food and drink all day, and the risk of rebellion, they won’t put you inside the Royal City. My mother is still in the hands of Eldorado. As long as I rescue her, I will keep my word regarding everything that follows,” Isaac said in a resolute tone.
“This is a big deal, I need to think it over…” Elon said as favonovel.com stared coldly at Isaac.
“Alright, but I only gave the Purple-Blue Legion two hours. You still have an hour and a half to consider.” Isaac said and then turned around and walked out.
Isaac had just left when three generals in black armor entered and knelt on the ground together.
One of them, with tears in his eyes, said, “Commander, we can’t surrender. The Kingdom of Easteria has never surrendered before. If we give in now, how will Eldorado and those officials view us?”
“Yes Commander! What will happen to our family?!”
“Please reconsider, Commander!”
Watching the three commanding generals kneeling and continuously bowing before him, Elon’s face showed an incredibly complex expression.
“Please leave. I need some time alone…”
Time continued to tick by, and by now, Isaac had already rejoined the Purple-Blue Legion.
Two hours later, Elon’s voice came from within the carriage: “Go find a soldier who looks similar to me!”
Soon, a middle-aged soldier was brought in front of the carriage.
Shortly after favonovel.com was sent inside, Elon, now dressed in regular soldier’s armor, stepped out of the carriage.
“Order the entire army to lay down their weapons and surrender!”
The three commanding generals had drastic changes in their expressions, and then looked up to the sky as they wept bitterly.
A commanding general leaped into the air and looked around at the panicked soldiers of the Black Tiger Legion. He shouted angrily, “By the order of the commander, all soldiers, lay down your weapons and surrender!”
“Surrender and lay down your weapons!”
