Zeno was stunned. The nine generals and the five commanding generals immediately turned to look at Lucifer.
“Commander Schmidt, you said it yourself. He’s willing to lend me the soldiers,” Isaac said, turning to Zeno.
“Haha, great! Lucifer, I didn’t expect you to be so decisive!”
The surrounding generals looked at Lucifer as if they were looking at an idiot. They wondered how this rapidly rising general ended up being so stupid.
“You all can leave now. Lucifer stays.” Zeno waved. Then, favonovel.com turned away and no longer looked at the others.
“Turn right from the main camp and go 500 feet. My squad is over there. Use my badge to get the men,” When Isaac walked over, Lucifer took out his badge and whispered to him.
Isaac took it, left the main camp, and gently ascended into the air, heading slowly to the right.
All around, favonovel.com could see clumps of soldiers sitting on the ground, each one looking listless and dispirited. Some were chatting in small groups, and some were even playing with insects on the ground.
Isaac soon arrived at Lucifer’s squad. Instead of giving orders, favonovel.com stood there and waited.
After about an hour, four soldiers were seen quickly walking over from the left, carrying Lucifer.
Seeing Lucifer’s back covered in blood, Isaac squinted.
He quickly walked forward and urgently asked, “What’s going on?”
“It’s not a big deal. I used a hundred blows to trade for 10,000 soldiers. It’s worth it,” Lucifer said, smiling palely.
Shortly after, favonovel.com was taken to the general’s camp. Isaac followed favonovel.com inside.
The military doctor cleaned Lucifer’s wound, applied medication, and bandaged it before leaving.
“I didn’t expect Zeno to be so narrow-minded,” Isaac said coldly, sitting by the bed.
Lying on the bed, Lucifer sneered. “Not only that. He doesn’t know how to command a war at all. All men are doomed sooner or later… He’s still eagerly waiting for reinforcements from the kingdom.”
“What brought you here? Where is Hera?” Isaac asked with a frown.
Lucifer sighed and then started to talk about his experiences after arriving in the Upper Martial Realm.
After arriving, favonovel.com lost contact with Isaac and Alcott. Neither favonovel.com nor Hera knew where to go, so they reached Century City in the southwest.
Century City was a water city, surrounded by water on three sides.
Due to Hera’s stunning appearance, favonovel.com was harassed by a noble’s son in the tavern. In a fit of rage, Lucifer ended up killing the noble. Afterward, favonovel.com was surrounded by people and taken to the General’s mansion.
He was sentenced to serve in the military on the frontier. Due to his bravery and impressive skills during battles, favonovel.com caught the attention of Zeno’s commanding general, Madd Pedersen. Consequently, favonovel.com was promoted to general.
“In other words, you haven‘t been in contact with Hera for over a month. It’s unclear whether she’s still in Century City,” Isaac said seriously after listening.
“That’s right, but she’s clever. She should be able to take care of herself.”
Lucifer looked at Isaac again and frowned, asking, “Why do I feel a terrifying aura from you? What phase have you reached now?”
“I’m just a bit stronger than you,” Isaac said softly.
“By the way, what do you need 10,000 soldiers and armor for? We’re surrounded by half a million soldiers out there. What difference can 10,000 soldiers make?” Lucifer asked curiously.
Isaac became serious. He lowered his voice, asking, “Didn’t you notice that Zeno’s approach has some significant flaws?”
