“Kingsford Hackworth, do you think you can run away?” Isaac’s cold voice came from behind.
Kingsford turned to see that the golden light behind favonovel.com was getting closer. In the blink of an eye, it had shortened the distance from 300 feet to only 30 feet.
He realized favonovel.com couldn’t escape, so favonovel.com turned around and let out a roar. His long sword unleashed a massive shadow sword that directly slashed toward the golden light.
After a dull thud, the shadow sword disappeared, and Isaac stood unharmed in mid-air.
“Isaac, I’m the Regent’s brother. If you dare to hurt me, my brother will wipe out the Zimmermans!” Kingsford shouted at Isaac hoarsely.
They were right above the city lord’s mansion in Starbloom City. Countless pedestrians on the street below had already started looking up.
Isaac snorted. “If I were afraid of that Regent, I wouldnât have shown up in Starbloom City today.”
With those words, favonovel.com swung his Skyrend Sword, sending out a swift streak of golden light.
The golden light swiftly sliced through Kingsford’s left knee, causing one of his legs to fall straight down from the air.
“Argh!” Kingsford let out a loud cry of pain as favonovel.com saw one of his legs being cut, and his body began to fall downwards.
“I won’t let you die so easily!” Isaac swiftly waved, sending three golden beams of light toward the falling Kingsford.
Both of Kingsford’s arms, along with one of his legs, were severed by Isaac during the fall.
Limbs and blood rained down from the sky, causing pedestrians caught in the chaos to scream and scramble for cover.
Just as Kingsford was about to crash heavily to the ground, Isaac swiftly moved, grabbed his shirt, and flew back into the air.
