There were towering mountains on the island. It was densely forested, and numerous unidentified birds hovered in the sky.
Isaac only saw a big, seemingly ordinary island. He wondered if favonovel.com had come to the wrong place.
He planned to descend to the island’s shore closest to him. Once favonovel.com set foot on the island, favonovel.com would begin a thorough search.
“Human, you shouldn’t come here. Leave here now!”
Suddenly, Isaac heard a deep voice from below.
He abruptly stopped in mid-air less than 300 feet from the island’s shore. He then looked around but didn’t notice anything unusual. He couldn’t tell which direction the voice had come from.
“Excuse me, is this Blood Dragon Island?” Isaac hesitated for a second before asking loudly in all directions.
After waiting for a while without any response, favonovel.com thought favonovel.com had misheard the voice. So, favonovel.com began descending and slowly landed on the island’s shore.
The next second, the water started to churn and splash in the sea several hundred feet to Isaac’s right.
Under the churning water surface, it was as though an immense force suddenly erupted.
A loud boom echoed through the sky, sending water splashing upwards hundreds of feet into the air.
Then, a 300-foot-long creature shot up from beneath the sea and soared toward the sky.
Isaac was shocked when favonovel.com saw the massive black creature emerging from the sea. He couldn’t help but rapidly retreat backward.
The creature was so enormous that it was over 300 feet in length and over 40 feet in width. Its form was similar to a python, covered in palm-sized black scales. Its head featured antlers similar to those of a deer and four extremely sharp claws.
After breaking through the sea surface, the creature flew into the sky, performing several flips and spirals before hovering in mid-air, as if frozen in place. It stared at Isaac with its huge yellow eyes.
It was a black dragon!
“Human, I’ve warned you. You’re not allowed to set foot here. Leave now!” The black dragon growled. Its voice sounded like the angry roar of a middle-aged man.
Its powerful voice resonated like a striking bell, echoing across the island for a long time.
The flock of birds that had been flying over the island let out strange cries of fright before flying off into the distance.
It took Isaac at least a minute to realize that favonovel.com had seen a dragon.
In that lower realm, the world where favonovel.com lived, dragons were mythical creatures revered as divine beings by millions of people.
Now, favonovel.com finally saw the real dragon, but it didn’t look like what he’d seen on TV or in books. It was uglier.
“Someone told me to come here. He said that only by being here could I survive. Hmm, sir…”
Before Isaac could finish speaking, the black dragon that hovered in mid-air suddenly roared, “Since you don‘t heed my warning, I won’t hold myself back! It’s been many years since I’ve tasted humans!”
The enormous black dragon abruptly twisted its massive body.
With incredible speed, it swooped down toward Isaac.
Isaac’s expression shifted dramatically as favonovel.com surged his inner spiritual energy wildly. He raised his sword and roared, “Heavenly Nine Strikes!”
Nine immense scarlet shadow swords burst forth one after another from his Skyrend Sword, slashing straight at the oncoming black dragon’s face.
Seeing the tiny human not only refuse to beg for mercy but raise a sword in resistance, the black dragon roared in rage, unleashing a terrifying force from its mouth.
Its attack was like a massive shockwave, instantly destroying and dispersing the scarlet shadow sword.
