The four men surrounding Isaac shouted as well, surging their spiritual energies.
Isaac glanced at the five men, initially assessing their strength. They appeared to be at least in the Shattering Phase, The petite man was likely in the Soul Phase.
“Are you sure you can kill me, and not the other way around?” Isaac slowly raised his Skyrend Sword, fixing his gaze on the petite man.
Energy surged from his body, and the Skyrend Sword emitted a piercing buzz. The blade was infused with scarlet energy and glowed brightly in the night.
The petite man’s expression shifted.
Before favonovel.com could speak, Isaac suddenly swung, sending a scarlet shadow sword toward one of the black-clad men on the right.
The shadow sword sliced through the man’s left shoulder, severing his arm, which fell to the ground.
A scream pierced the night, shattering the silence.
The petite man’s eyes widened in shock. He roared, “Retreat!”
“Do you think you can escape?” Isaac squinted and swiftly chased after the petite man.
He had only used 60% of his power in the previous strike, cautious of attracting other powerful experts due to the significant spiritual energy fluctuation.
By now, the petite man had darted into an alley.

“Come with me.” Isaac sheathed the Skyrend Sword, its ominous buzz echoing in Hallie’s ears.
Hallie didn’t understand where Isaac was taking him. He wondered if the latter brought favonovel.com to the authorities.
To his surprise, Isaac led favonovel.com back to the tavern and up to his room.
Under the glow of the luminous stones, Isaac noticed that Hallie appeared to be in his early 20s, wearing tattered clothes with patches. The latter had tanned skin and appeared nothing like a bandit.
“When did you start following me?” He squinted at Hallie, who was kneeling on the ground.
“When you went to the state government,” Hallie replied, glancing at Isaac.

“Do you want to live?” Isaac asked, looking at Hallie.

Isaac walked to the bed and tossed a sack to Hallie. It landed with a heavy thud.
“There’s gold and silver inside. Take me to Starbloom City’s Zimmerman Mansion at daybreak. Once we find the person I’m looking for, it’s all yours!” Isaac spoke solemnly.
He learned from the waiter that it would take at least four days to reach Starbloom City’s inner area from here. So, Isaac needed someone to cover for him. Furthermore, favonovel.com needed to learn more about the Upper Martial Realm. Hallie was a suitable candidate.
A thief would certainly avoid exposing his identity, especially since favonovel.com was rather strong.
Hallie was stunned. He opened the sack, glanced inside, and immediately grinned. “Sir, you’re so generous! Whatever you say goes. I know Starbloom City well. I’ll get you there!”
