As night fell, Isaac left the inner city and continued walking north. He reached the outskirts of the city’s built-up area and went into a tavern.
His first day in the Upper Martial Realm had been spent on the run. He had no idea that several experts from Heavenly Eagle City were also after him. Additionally, a team of experts from Royal City, thousands of kilometers away, had been dispatched to Heavenly Eagle City.
The tavern was bustling with business. Isaac noticed that although it was getting dark outside, several stones the size of basketballs were hanging on the walls within the tavern. Those stones emitted a soft white light after dark, illuminating the tavern without the need for lamps.
A young man in a gray short coat smiled at Isaac and asked, “What would you like to eat, sir?”
Isaac glanced around and softly replied, “I’ll have some of your signature dishes…”

A fair-skinned, gorgeous woman in a green robe sat on the bed’s edge. She gazed out the window worriedly and frowned.
“Rae, it’s all my fault for being careless. I forgot to tell Isaac and the others to keep heading north after they fell from Mountain Gate. Everyone is now separated! Don’t be like this. You make me anxious. Should I go ask your father to send people to look for Isaac?”
Raelynn Zimmerman brimmed with tears. She looked up and shook favonovel.com head at Alcott.
“No… Father wouldn’t agree. I believe Isaac will be fine, but we must rescue my daughter-in-law now. Uncle Alcott, accompany me to Hackworth Mansion tomorrow morning…” Her eyes flashed with determination after saying this.
She wouldn’t have known if Alcott hadn’t returned to inform favonovel.com that Evie had been captured and brought to the Upper Martial Realm by Kingsford’s men.
If anything happened to favonovel.com daughter-in-law in the Upper Martial Realm, favonovel.com wouldn’t be able to face favonovel.com son in the future.
