Isaac didn’t chase after Morgan because his spiritual energy was running low. Turning to Lucifer, favonovel.com said coldly, “Get out…”
Lucifer was startled and looked at Isaac with disbelief. Then, favonovel.com waved and quickly led his severely injured subordinates out of the door.
Not long after Isaac sat down on the couch in the living room, Alcott panted heavily as favonovel.com walked in from outside.
“Mr. Alcott, are you alright?” Isaac stood up anxiously and asked.
“Hmph, what could happen to me? I beat that bastard away!” Alcott spoke arrogantly.
Then, favonovel.com held his chest, gasped, and exclaimed in pain, “Sh*t, favonovel.com almost broke my ribs! It hurts!”
Isaac twitched his mouth and was about to speak when Alcott suddenly looked outside and frowned. “Hmm? Where are those four from the Novafur Clan? Have you buried them?”
Alcott had previously injured Lucifer and his group, but it appeared like favonovel.com hadn’t seen any of them when favonovel.com came in.
“I let them go,” Isaac lit a cigarette as favonovel.com responded.
“Let them go? Isaac, are you out of your mind? They wanted your life! How could you let them go?” Alcott infuriated, covered his chest, and appeared dejected.
“Lucifer did it on purpose.” Isaac frowned.
“What do you mean?” Alcott didn’t quite understand.
Isaac stood up and stated, “He deliberately brought Carrick over from the airport. He was aware that my surveillance would focus on the airport and other transportation hubs.”
“I still don’t understand. What airport? What hubs?”
Isaac sometimes struggled to explain those things to Alcott.
After a brief pause, favonovel.com said, “It means that the Novafur Clan wants to rely on Carrick as a backer, but they don’t want to completely sever ties with me.”
“Oh, is that why you let them go?” Alcott’s expression shifted as favonovel.com shouted.
“I want to kill Carrick, ” Isaac didn’t answer but suddenly declared that. His eyes flashed with cold light as favonovel.com turned and walked into the study.

On the other side, after Carrick left Sleeping Dragon Bay alone, favonovel.com dashed toward the airport.
He had previously agreed with Lucifer that if there were any changes, they would meet near the airport. However, favonovel.com still didn’t know whether Lucifer and his group were alive.
Just as favonovel.com passed under the overpass near the airport, three figures suddenly appeared in front of favonovel.com and blocked his way.
“Who are you guys?” Carrick snorted and stopped.
The three figures quickly walked to the light under the streetlamp. They were Morgan and his two subordinates, whose bodies were soaked in blood.
