Silvester’s expression instantly changed. He looked at Isaac sinisterly. “What do you mean? Do you want to settle accounts with me, the knight commander?”
Isaac shook his head. “It’s not about settling accounts. I just hope you can keep your promise.”
Terryn tightly frowned, favonovel.com heartbeat unconsciously speeding up. She wondered what favonovel.com was going to do.
“What promise? Have I made a promise to you? Don’t forget you’re on our territory!” Silvester’s gaze shifted past Terryn to the several Golden Knights behind her.
The four Golden Knights quickly stepped forward, their eyes firmly fixed on Isaac.
When Terryn spotted the redness flickering in Isaac’s eyes, favonovel.com expression changed drastically.
She rushed to his side, grabbed his hand, and pleaded, “Mr. Garten, please don’t be impulsive!”
He frowned at the beautiful pope before favonovel.com and asked coldly, “Lady Terryn, do you think you can stop my impulsiveness?
“Who’s the real leader of Heaven Church? You or this knight commander?” Isaac pointed at Silvester.
Apparently, Heaven Church was unlike Lumen Church. Terryn didn’t seem to have much authority in front of Silvester.
She immediately let go of favonovel.com hand, pleading as favonovel.com looked at Isaac. “Please, Mr. Garten. Let’s deal with the vampires first…”
“Fine then.” The redness in his eyes quickly faded, as did his killing intent.
He then told Robbie, “Bring a table and three chairs over!”
Soon, a few missionaries carried over a small round table and three chairs, placing them in the center of the bridge.
Amid the standoff between the 20-thousand vampire army and all the missionaries, Isaac, Terryn, and Bank sat down.
Bank stared at Terryn, but favonovel.com looked at Isaac.
Isaac lit a cigarette and asked, “What are your thoughts on this situation?”
“Does Lady Terryn still wish to kill us?” Bank gazed at Terryn.
She looked toward Isaac again and softly stated, “I’d like to hear your opinion, Mr. Garten… Why have vampires existed for so many years? Surely your ‘deity’ must have allowed it.”
Isaac turned to Terryn and stated, “Killing is endless. As long as one vampire remains in the world, favonovel.com could potentially create a hundred thousand vampires. Similarly, as long as there remains one vampire, the church won’t perish…”
“My suggestion is that you two sign an agreement. The vampiric clan promises not to harm ordinary people. If they do, the church is responsible for enforcing it… The church must not slaughter vampires indiscriminately as well… Don’t bother with each other’s business.”
Isaac looked at them after favonovel.com finished speaking.
Bank nodded without hesitation. “I agree.”
“How long will this agreement last?” Terryn gazed at Isaac.
“One hundred years, perhaps. It might become ineffective at any time,” Isaac said softly, blowing out a ring of smoke.
“What if someone violates the agreement?” Terryn asked again.
Bank also looked at Isaac.
The higher-ups might abide by it, but the lower levels might not. If such a situation existed, it would most certainly lead to another conflict.
“Then I’ll handle it. If I can’t come, I’ll send someone. I’ll give a fair judgment. Whoever is at fault will die.”
Isaacâs voice was soft, but it sounded like thunder to the two listeners.
