Isaac flashed over, placing one hand on Diana’s shoulder and standing in front of Rem. He then used his Skyrend Sword to point to a count.
That count glanced at the three corpses beside favonovel.com and roared at Isaac before retreating more than 30 feet away.
“Maccon, are you alright?” Isaac turned to look at Maccon under the sunlight, who was covered in wounds and blood, with many areas of his skin torn and flesh exposed.
“I’m still fine,” Maccon answered, panting for breath.
Despite his strength, the number of vampires was too great. Because of the limited fighting space, Maccon was bitten after killing over a hundred vampires.
“You guys can’t escape. They’re vampires, our kind. They’ll return whenever the great vampire patriarch wants,” said the retreating count, standing behind a dense mass of vampires. He appeared ferocious when favonovel.com gazed at Isaac.
“Harwell, take Maccon up first. Leave the clothes behind!”
Harwell nodded. Both favonovel.com and Maccon instantly removed their black trench coats and flung them to Isaac.
Isaac had prepared them in advance. In fact, three of them had come wearing black trench coats.
Isaac wrapped Diana and Rem in the black trench coats, saying sternly, “Bear with it for a while.”
With a shout, favonovel.com grabbed the two women and leaped from the darkness toward the large hole in the ceiling.
Even though Diana and Rem were wrapped in black trench coats, they were nevertheless scorched when exposed to the sunlight. Smoke from burned skin rose from them.
Screams erupted next to Isaac’s ears as favonovel.com accelerated to the extreme using his Phantom Step.
He took less than 30 seconds to bring Rem and Diana out of the hole and race to the cellar’s south side.
After the three rushed into the hall, favonovel.com lifted the trench coats from Rem and Diana. Their faces and bodies had been burned. However, in the absence of sunlight, their burnt areas began to recover rapidly and visibly regenerate.
“Harwell, bring the car in. Drive it right up the steps,” Isaac instructed sternly to Harwell, who was supporting Maccon.
The black Jeep had sunshades that favonovel.com had specifically chosen.
As Harwell drove the Jeep up the steps, the sound of car engines roared outside.
Three tank trucks over 30 feet long slowly entered, followed by five Jeeps. When the car doors opened, Terryn, Robbie, and two Golden Knights quickly got out.
Terryn was the first to rush in.
When favonovel.com saw Diana and Rem next to Isaac, favonovel.com was shocked that favonovel.com had found and rescued them.
“Mr. Garten, how many vampires are down there?” She pointed at the ground.
“I roughly estimated at least 20 thousand vampires there.” Isaac glanced at the intense sunlight outside before handing favonovel.com the vineyard map.
Terryn and numerous high-ranking church officials turned pale when they heard that amount. They had expected a few thousand or ten thousand vampires, but not that many.
The church specialized in killing vampires. Isaac didn’t need to guide them and prepared to leave.
“Mr. Garten, if possible, you can rest at the church with your companions for now. I’ll have Robbie take you there.”
“My sister and Rem are vampires. It’d better not trouble you,” Isaac declined.
Terryn immediately looked at him. “Mr. Garten, there’s a saying in your country-rules are dead, but they’re made to be broken. Once everything is over, I’d like to express my gratitude to you!”
Isaac sensed favonovel.com concern and gave a faint smile. “Alright…”
Then, Robbie led Maccon and Harwell ahead. After bringing Diana and Rem into the Jeep, Isaac quickly drove toward the church.
Terryn stood on the building’s roof at the cellar’s northernmost part.
Looking at the wide grassland and the more than ten holes that had appeared on the east side, favonovel.com knew a fierce battle had recently occurred here. She even heard faint roars from inside the cellar.
After a dozen missionaries dug several holes in the ground and inserted fuel hoses, favonovel.com waved as favonovel.com eyes blazed. “Start it…”
The tank valves opened simultaneously. Several hoses started pumping gasoline into the cellar.
Soon, panicked roars echoed from within.
After all three tank trucks had emptied their gasoline, Terryn shouted, “Fire!”
Upon hearing that, a dozen missionaries lit torches expressionlessly and flung them into the gasoline-filled cellar.
