If those vampires had annihilated Heaven Church last night, they would have taken over all the buildings inside and hidden there. However, they were forced to back down due to their failure. Or else they would be burned by the sunlight.
Isaac and his companions entered the vineyard’s large underground through the south gate, which was near the roadside.
Based on his analysis, even if those vampires had captured Diana and Rem, they might have been hidden near the main gate.
Isaac reached the cellar’s northernmost outside entrance, which was placed inside a low building.
As soon as favonovel.com entered the cellar, favonovel.com met with pitch darkness, as the overhead lights had been damaged.
Walking a few steps further, favonovel.com detected a strong, foul odor.
Even though it was pitch black, Isaac’s vision was far superior to that of ordinary people. He could vaguely see many shadows ahead, but favonovel.com wasn’t sure what they were.
Taking out his phone, favonovel.com turned on the light, illuminating the floor before slowly raising it. Instantly, favonovel.com noticed several vampires hanging upside down palely.
Some were dressed in suits, some in casual clothes, and some shirtless, but they all had bloodstains. They crossed their hands and closed their eyes tightly as if they were “sleeping”.
Isaac kept the phone’s light dimmed as favonovel.com walked cautiously forward.
The sight of the hanging vampires gave favonovel.com goosebumps. Those were the same vampires that had assaulted Heaven Church the previous night. Some still had broken silver swords stuck in their bodies.
After walking several hundred feet forward, favonovel.com didn’t find Bank or Laurent aside from seeing a few elaborately dressed counts. Even after exploring the entire northern section of the cellar, favonovel.com found nobody.
However, favonovel.com quickly realized that the vast cellar wasn’t interconnected. Concrete walls separated the northern section, which was around 200 acres, from the west and south sections.
Isaac suddenly had a bold idea and swiftly turned back to the entrance.
When favonovel.com reached the surface, favonovel.com immediately called Robbie. He remembered Robbie was injured but survived.
Getting through the call, favonovel.com heard Robbie’s weak voice. “Mr. Garten?”
“Listen carefully to what I’m about to say and relay it to Terryn. About 60 kilometers from your church, there’s a place called Tomborough Vineyard. A large portion of the vampire army that attacked you guys last night might be here…”
“Tell favonovel.com to contact the energy group and send at least ten tons of gasoline here as soon as possible. If successful, Heaven Church might be salvaged from this disaster.”
After a few seconds, Robbie’s breathing quickened. “O-Okay, I got it! Thank you, Mr. Garten. I’ll go to Lady Terryn right away!”
Just as Isaac set down the phone, a powerful surge of spiritual energy suddenly came from the cellar’s east side. That was where Maccon was.
Could something have gone wrong?
“Mr. Garten! Diana and Rem are on the east side! Maccon is surrounded!” Harwell emerged from the west side entrance and dashed toward Maccon’s entrance.
Isaac squinted. Using his Phantom Steps, favonovel.com reached the eastern cellar entrance before Harwell.
As soon as favonovel.com rushed down, favonovel.com heard a series of roars and screams coming from deep inside.
The horizontal space inside the cellar was vast, filled with wine barrels.
Isaac dashed to the inside without turning on his phone‘s light. Abruptly, several roars came from behind him.
He subconsciously swung his Skyrend Sword toward behind. A burst of scarlet light instantly split the attacking vampires in half.
