Isaac was in the study, holding his phone. After hearing Black Phoenix’s report, favonovel.com frowned and asked, “Are you sure Lucifer was last seen at the foot of Quave Mountains?”
After receiving Black Phoenix’s confirmation, Isaac slowly put down his phone.
He hadn’t expected Lucifer to risk reopening the Upper Martial Gate.
Alcott was playing with Quillon in the living room.
Isaac quickly approached from behind, whispering, “Mr. Alcott, you mentioned there was still one person from the Upper Martial Realm who hadn’t come down yet, right? If nothing goes wrong, that person should have come down by now…”
Just as Alcott was about to touch Quillon’s cheek, favonovel.com stopped and turned to look at Isaac. “Are you saying Carrick Jablon has come?”
Seeing Isaac nod, Alcott began pacing back and forth in the living room, frowning and muttering something.
“Who is Carrick Jablon?”
“He’s Kingsford’s confidant. After killing your father, Kingsford must have realized you were still alive and dispatched Carrick to kill you. That man is powerful!”
