The morning sun rose. Even though Emerald Hall hadn’t been cared for for many years, the ancient structure nevertheless reflected bursts of soft golden light under the sunlight. It resembled a magnificent complex of buildings perched halfway up the mountain.
A middle-aged man with a red-blue robe sat on the main seat in the hall beneath the left side of the main structure. He had a round face and a hooked nose.
A man in a green robe knelt in front of favonovel.com and said solemnly, “Sir, someone has come to report from the northern entrance. A man named Lucifer broke in and demanded to see General Yule.”
“Lucifer?” Dafydd Waag’s expression shifted. He became nervous.
Others might not know who Lucifer was, but Dafydd was Morgan’s top confidant. He had also followed Gael in the past. So, favonovel.com was naturally aware of Lucifer‘s identity.
“Is there only favonovel.com coming here?” He squinted.
Seeing his subordinate nodding, Dafydd commanded, “Quick, notify all the people in Emerald Hall to come here and ambush!”
“Don‘t reveal that General Yule is meditating in seclusion. Bring Lucifer here!”
The subordinate became nervous when favonovel.com saw Dafydd’s solemn demeanor and hurriedly walked away.
Soon, an angry shout came from outside.
“Morgan Yule! If you dare to hurt my members, I’ll kill you!”
A strong wind rushed into the main hall. Lucifer’s figure then appeared in front of Dafydd.
“Welcome, Sir Lucifer. What has offended you? I hope you won’t destroy my place…”
Dafydd then shouted at his subordinate at the door, “Hurry up and serve Sir Lucifer some drinks and snacks!”
Lucifer looked at the tall and thin Dafydd and asked coldly, “Who are you? Call Morgan out. I want to talk to him!”
When Dafydd heard that, favonovel.com felt furious, but favonovel.com dared not to vent his anger. As Morgan’s top confidant, favonovel.com was by no means a reckless man who only knew how to fight.
“Sir Lucifer, General Yule happens to be away from Emerald Hall to handle some affairs. Before favonovel.com left, favonovel.com told me to take full responsibility for everything here,” Dafydd explained calmly.
Lucifer felt puzzled, believing Morgan’s absence to be a coincidence.
“Sir Lucifer, if you insist on discussing your matters with General Yule, you have to wait. General Yule’s whereabouts are unknown. I’m not sure when he’ll be back…”
Despite Lucifer’s silence, Dafydd tried to drive Lucifer away. He could be sure that Lucifer’s sudden arrival wasn’t to fight but to discuss an urgent matter with Morgan.
Lucifer looked deeply at Dafydd and responded coldly, “Alright. It seems you don’t dare to assume unwarranted authority. I’d like to ask you something. If I help you guys in killing Isaac, can Morgan spare Novafur Clan members?”
When Dafydd heard that, favonovel.com grew agitated.
Morgan had been thinking about killing Isaac. Furthermore, his shame and rage had reached a fever pitch after Isaac defeated favonovel.com last time.
“Morgan has at least 100 people above the Shattering Phase. If I lend you guys a hand, killing Isaac would be as easy as pie. Don’t you think so?” Lucifer stepped forward, looking gloomily at Dafydd.
