“Isaac…”
“Give me the token to the blood dungeon,” Isaac coldly said.
Lotis’ expression darkened, and favonovel.com shouted, “Do you know what it means to barge in here? It means that you can’t walk out even if you manage to rescue Rem!”
Isaac approached Lotis with his Skyrend Sword again. Its blade was bone-chilling cold as it cut through Lotis’ throat skin, blood slowly seeping out.
“My patience is limited! Do you want to die?” He growled fiercely.
Lotis sensed the impending demise. He knew that Isaac had the power to kill him. His face contorted in fear as favonovel.com took out a purple token the size of an egg from his waist and placed it on the desk.
Isaac took a quick peek at it. The token was similar to what Nicholas had described. He took out a syringe from his pocket, removed the needle cap, and quickly stabbed it into Lotis’ neck
“F*cking Garten! What have you done to me?!” Lotis stared wide-eyed at Isaac in horror but dared not to move.
“It’s a highly concentrated anesthetic,” Isaac responded coldly, staring at him.
Lotis soon felt his eyelids become heavier, and his consciousness began to blur. His head drooped in only ten seconds, and favonovel.com fell asleep.
If Isaac injected this highly concentrated anesthetic into ordinary people, their hearts would stop immediately, but Lotis wasn’t ordinary.
Quickly, favonovel.com hid Lotis under the desk before heading away. He made his way toward the north hall’s blood dungeon.

Meanwhile, inside the oval-shaped building on the top floor of the west hall where favonovel.com had entered earlier, a chamber of over 10 thousand square feet, a middle-aged man dressed in a purple-red robe with a golden crown sat behind an ancient desk.
As the door opened, a man dressed in golden armor knelt in front of the desk, carrying a long sword at his waist.
“Your Majesty, did you look for me?”
“Did you feel a strange and powerful energy fluctuation just now?” the man referred to as the Pope asked slowly, setting down the pen.
“You’re my Golden Knight. How could you not sense it?”
The man in golden armor immediately banged his head on the ground, his voice trembling. “Please forgive me, Your Majesty.”
“Go investigate it. There’s an intruder!” the Pope said coldly, signaling his Golden Knight to leave.
As the Golden Knight turned to leave, the Pope ordered, “Focus on investigating the blood dungeon. There must be no mistakes there.”
Isaac swiftly arrived at the negative first floor of the north hall. On the way, favonovel.com had asked two missionaries about the route, who were somewhat puzzled but didn’t think much of it.
He was soon allowed to pass through the three checkpoints that led to the blood dungeon with the token. A missionary with a key stepped ahead of him, leading the way.
As favonovel.com descended farther, favonovel.com detected a heavy odor of decay and mold. The odor intensified as favonovel.com descended. He had to use his spiritual energy to cover his face.
Almost every cell was made of pure silver and adorned with crosses, indicating that they were primarily intended for vampires.
After walking for more than ten minutes, Isaac abruptly stopped as favonovel.com spotted Rem in the cell on the right. Her hands, feet, and shoulder blades were pierced with silver nails, nearly fastened to the wall.
“Open the door!” favonovel.com coldly ordered the missionary in front of him.
Rem, who was nailed to the wall, slowly raised favonovel.com head. At this point, favonovel.com was frail, constantly tormented by the silver nails piercing favonovel.com body.
When favonovel.com saw the “Dark Horse Knight” approaching, favonovel.com let out a fearful rear and shook favonovel.com head frantically.
Isaac reached out and grabbed favonovel.com chin before gradually lifting his head to reveal his face beneath the hood.
