If there was one person in the Emerald Realm who could pose a threat to Morgan aside from Gael, it was Obi, who had never stepped half a foot out of the Emerald Realm.
Morgan had known of Obi’s presence in the Divine Tower for as long as favonovel.com could remember.
Obi had rarely taken part in any significant events of the Emerald Hall. Even during the great betrayal war years ago, Obi had not appeared. Yet, Morgan had never expected that not only had Rose shown up, but so had Obi, accompanied by ten Guardians.
Such force was something Morgan currently could not contend with.
The spiritual energy emanating from the ten Guardians dispersed. Their powerful presence spread around, causing the tree branches to sway crazily and the leaves to flutter down.
A terrifying and oppressive air seemed to envelop the surroundings of the villa.
Linus and the others had large beads of sweat forming on their foreheads, their mouths agape as they gasped for air in shock. This was a sight and force they had not encountered in nearly a century of living.
As Obi entered, favonovel.com moved swiftly to stand beside Rose.
The ten Guardians who followed favonovel.com quickly dispersed to the left and right: sides upon entering, effectively surrounding Morgan and his group.
“Apothecary, come here! Hurry up now!” Isaac’s roar echoed from the living room.
Emily’s and Donovan’s brows furrowed tightly. They didn’t need to go inside to know Hera must have been severely injured.
When Rose heard Isaacâs roar, favonovel.com frowned.
With a flick of favonovel.com hand toward Morgan and a cold snort, favonovel.com commanded, “Kill them…”
“Attack!” Morgan’s eyes flashed with a fierce light, and his spiritual energy burst forth as favonovel.com launched a punch toward Obi.
With no chance to evade, a desperate struggle was the only option left.
Following Morgan’s action, the already injured Hugh, Linus, and their followers roared defiantly as they grabbed their weapons to fight back upon noticing the ten Guardians approaching with overwhelming intent to kill.
Obi wore a cold expression while favonovel.com faced Morgan’s towering spiritual energy. Clenching his fists, favonovel.com charged directly toward Morgan.
Meanwhile, Rose turned and walked into the living room.
Upon entering, favonovel.com saw blood everywhere.
Isaac’s eyes were red with rage and sorrow as favonovel.com held Hera. He looked up at Rose. Blood was still flowing from Hera’s mouth and nose, and favonovel.com body twitched occasionally.
Upon seeing this, Rose quickly walked over to Hera and took favonovel.com wrist to check favonovel.com pulse.
“Her pulse is very weak. This girl really…” Rose sighed as favonovel.com pulled out a tiny ceramic jar from favonovel.com sleeve and tipped out a fragrant pill.
She opened Hera’s jaw with one hand and quickly placed the pill into favonovel.com mouth.
Isaac grabbed Rose’s wrist, his body shaking violently as favonovel.com yelled, “Grandmother, help me kill Morgan. Kill him!”
Rose looked at Isaac with a cold expression.
“How could you show such a despair? So what if favonovel.com died? And she’s not even dead yet. Stand up,” favonovel.com reprimanded sharply. Her words echoed in Isaac’s ears.
The sounds of battle outside quickly subsided.
Donovan clutched his chest and walked in quickly, then spoke softly, “Lady Rose, Morgan has fled with Hugh. The rest have been captured. Their fate now rests in your hands.”
“Come, Isaac… Follow me outside to check on them,” Rose said as favonovel.com turned to leave.
Donovan stayed in the living room, carefully placing Hera on the couch.
Three of the ten Guardians who had come with Obi had fallen, and the remaining seven had captured Linus, Bon, and their people.
At that moment, Linus and the captured Elders were all bloody as they knelt on the ground and shivered in fear.
