All the guests had arrived by noon, but Allegra hadn’t seen Isaac.

By this time, all six tables outside were fully seated.

Isaac lifted the glass, raised it high, and said with a smile, “I thank everyone for gracing my humble home today to celebrate my son’s sip-and-see party. A toast to all of you!”
Everyone drank in unison before they sat down slowly.
Seeing Hera approaching, Isaac spoke again, “The midday feast might be delayed due to some unforeseen circumstances.”
This announcement stirred a wave of confusion and concern among the guests.
What could be so urgent that Isaac felt compelled to mention it?
At the table, Donovan and two Guardians who were about to sip their wine frowned simultaneously.
“Please, could all guests move to the tour buses outside? We’ve arranged for a hotel where you can rest for now.”
The guests began to stand and follow the staff’s directions outside.
But Isaac noticed that Donovan, the Guardians, Mizar, Altair, Karmic, and Emily remained seated, unmoved by the announcement.
