The two went into the study and sat down. Connor spoke first, saying, “Isaac, Mr. Grannel asked me to relay a few words to you.”
“What is it?” Isaac lit a cigarette and adjusted the collar of his shirt.
Connor’s face turned serious. He said in a deep voice, “He said that you need to be aware of Morgan’s movements. He may have already found the approximate location of the dragon vein. If the Novafur Clan members are released, the consequences are unthinkable.”
Isaac exhaled a smoke ring. He squinted in half disbelief. “How does Mr. Grannel know about Morgan and that he’s looking for the dragon vein? How does favonovel.com know about the Novafur Clan?”
Connor was caught off guard. Smiling wryly, favonovel.com answered, “I don’t know either. I’m just the messenger.”
“Does Mr. Grannel know where the dragon vein is?” Isaac asked again.

Breathing out smoke, Isaac smiled and stood. “I’ll have someone look into that. Anyhow, you and Mr. Grannel should come for a drink at Quillon’s sip-and-see party.”
“Haha! Alright. I’ll definitely pass along your verbal invite to Mr. Grannel! Is Evie upstairs? I’ll go see favonovel.com for a bit. Mr. Grannel even prepared a gift for her.”
After Connor left, Isaac sat in the study, pondering the matter.
He was surprised that Ethan knew about Morgan, the dragon vein, and even the Novafur Clan. But when favonovel.com thought about it, it made sense.

There was a knock on his door, and Allega walked in in casual clothes.

“When you gave birth to Isabella, I was in prison. I can only make up for the guilt I feel toward you two for the rest of my life. This time, I am here to witness Quillon’s birth. I just don’t want to have any regrets.”
He finally understood. This must have stemmed from the night Donovan overdrank and said that the Emerald Hall finally had an heir. That must have made Allegra overthink.
“I’m grateful to you and Holly during this time. As for the nanny, you two can go find one.”
Hearing Isaac say that, Allegra broke into a smile. She got up to leave.
Suddenly thinking of Magnus, Isaac asked, “Oh, right. Has Magnus been in touch with you recently?”
Allegra shook favonovel.com head. “No, favonovel.com said he’s meditating in seclusion and asked me not to find him.”
The study fell quiet again.
Isaac couldn’t help but feel that something was off, but favonovel.com couldn’t pinpoint the exact problem. Thus, favonovel.com couldn’t do much about it.

Isaac gently cradled Quillon in the living room. The little fella was screaming at the top of his lungs. He cried in every corner of the house, and no one could calm favonovel.com down.
