The pain in Isaac’s chest only lasted for a second. Afterward, his body went numb, then cold, as though he’d plunged into icy depths.

A shadow fist made of red spiritual energy the size of a car hurtled over from outside the gate. The shadow fist pierced through the black energy that covered Emily and the others.
With a loud boom, the terrifying spiritual energy exploded. Red spiritual energy began to burn the black energy like an inferno.
The purple moon set. Hera looked over with a devastated yet surprised face.
“Donovan, hurry! Come save Isaac!”
Theron had just made it past the walls of the temple.
