After exchanging glances, they all nodded in agreement.
They were well aware of Isaac’s status, even Theron seemed wary of offending him, and even the Ninja Lord heeded his commands.
Naturally, they wanted to live. Surviving these nights and protecting the Arcane Spring would make them heroes of Rippan.
Meanwhile, at the northern balcony of Requiemous Temple, Theron and his group, which included Ezra, emerged behind his students.

Hearing Theron’s plan to essentially sacrifice Isaac, Ezra couldn’t help but feel delighted.
Just then, a child’s hearty laughter echoed from the forest directly in front of the north side.
The sound grew closer, making Theron’s and everyone’s hair stand on end.
Suddenly, a short shadow appeared atop the second northern wall.
It seemed to be less than three feet tall, but this shadow was enveloped in a thick, swirling black smokescreen. It looked incredibly sinister under the purple moon.
