Like flitting shadows in the night, they quickly crossed the first wall and charged toward the main building of Requiemous Temple.
Isaac and Hera witnessed such beings for the first time in their lives and were about to take action.
The four mediums behind them said sternly, “Mr. Garten, leave these lowly creatures to us!”
Afterward, the four mediums shouted angrily and leaped down from the third-floor balcony. They then rushed toward the dozens of Grimwhiskers charging forward.
Isaac watched as these four mediums quickly ignited their swords with a flame-like red glow and began swinging their weapons.
The Grimwhiskers were struck by the mediums’ swords and emitted weird screams, with many being cut in half by a single strike. However, the waves of the Grimwhiskers seemed endless. After the mediums inside had slain a batch, another bunch swiftly charged in.
Seeing the four mediums below slowing down, with two of them wounded by the strange Grimwhiskers, Isaac said in a deep voice, “We can’t wait any longer! Scarlet Luna Shot!”
He wielded his long sword and roared as scarlet spiritual energy surged in front of him. He transformed the spiritual energy into a spinning orb and propelled it forward with a push of his left hand.
The scarlet orb spun and released hundreds of scarlet shadow swords. They rained down like a hail upon the Grimwhiskers below.
Instantly, more than 30 Grimwhiskers were pierced by the spiritual shadow swords and fell dead.
The mediums below swiftly looked up, their eyes filled with gratitude toward Isaac for his timely intervention.
Despite Grimwhisker not being particularly formidable, their sheer number was overwhelming.
Observing the fallen Grimwhiskers, Isaac noted that their black smokescreen dissipated and revealed bodies with faces entirely covered in white fur. Everything was eerily bizarre.
When everything quieted down, the area around the temple was littered with the bodies of Grimwhiskers.
Out of the dozens of mediums, seven or eight were injured, and the rest were just severely drained of their soul energy.
Suddenly, a roar as fierce as a tiger’s echoed from the southern woods, followed by a deafening crash.
On the south side, where Emily and the others were stationed, two walls were smashed successively, creating two large holes.
A nine-foot-long tiger with eyes emitting a faint green glow appeared before Emily and the others.
On the back of the giant tiger rode a man in a black robe with a human body but a cat’s face.
Under the illumination of the purple moon, the cat-faced man observed the scattered Grimwhisker corpses. His expression changed into a sinister grin.
He slowly descended from the tiger’s back and looked up at Emily and the others. With a long howl, favonovel.com leaped toward the third-floor balcony.
The cat- faced man suddenly split into five clones in midair, and they were moving as fast as lightning.
Emily roared, “Apex Swordplay, Annihilation!”
Purple soul energy gathered around her, and with a push from favonovel.com chest, the energy transformed into dozens of shadow swords.
Those shadow swords struck at the five cat-faced men who were about to jump on them.
Isaac felt a tightness in his chest as favonovel.com heard Emily’s roar. He was about to rush to Emily’s side.
Suddenly, a fox covered in blue fur appeared on the wall 300 feet ahead.
Isaac focused ahead immediately.
The blue fox was over six feet in length. Adding its tail, it likely measured 13 feet. It stood lightly on the wall. Its sapphire-blue fox eyes stared straight ahead.
The fox’s eerie gaze quickly swept over Hera and Duncan before it finally fixed its eyes on Isaac’s face.
