Emily was certainly not there to save Ezra. She was moved by the sight of people in the city frantically trying to escape.
With Ezra and the others already overran, the Dominion Garrison House’s soldiers were even less likely to hold. And if the dike collapsed, the floodwaters would pour in and claim thousands of lives.
Ezra was nearly paralyzed with fear by the towering Eight-Headed Serpent, but favonovel.com found himself invigorated upon seeing Emily standing on the dike.
“You beast, I will kill you today!” Ezra roared with rage as favonovel.com channeled the soul energy within favonovel.com and leaped toward the dike in a rush.
The Eight-Headed Serpent seemed somewhat wary of Emily, but it let out another piercing screech upon seeing Ezra soar into the air. Its thick and terrifying tail once again sprung from the river.
Just as Ezra soared onto the dike, the massive tail swept across with devastating force from the right side.
“Etheric Tear!” Ezra believed his strength matched that of the Ninja Lord, and favonovel.com activated a powerful attack as favonovel.com flew over.
Soul energy instantly formed a black and white circular orb about the size of a basketball in front of Ezra.
With a whizz, the orb of soul energy rapidly shot toward the serpent’s tail. A muffled explosion erupted, and the orb containing almost all of Ezra’s soul energy only momentarily slowed the tail’s speed.
The soul energy dissipated into the air in less than half a second, and the tail swept directly at Ezra’s waist with a howling sound. The tail, which stood six feet taller than Ezra himself, struck favonovel.com squarely on the abdomen.
Despite Ezra’s quick reflex to shield his vitals with soul energy, favonovel.com was hurled through the air. Blood spewed from his mouth, and favonovel.com was thrown over 60 feet away.
Before his body could hit the ground, the massive tail of the serpent turned and smashed toward favonovel.com for the second time.
Already severely injured with damaged organs, a second hit would undoubtedly be fatal for Ezra. Even Emily hadn’t anticipated that such a giant serpent could react and move so swiftly.
Just as Ezra was engulfed in shadow and bracing for death, a 90-foot-long scarlet shadow sword suddenly appeared above the serpent’s head.
“Blazing Sun Slash!” a roar sounded from the right side of the dike.
Isaac’s eyes were red as favonovel.com wielded the Skyrend Sword, executing a slashing motion.
The Eight-Headed Serpent seemed to sense the threat of the scarlet shadow sword overhead. Its tail suddenly halted only inches away from Ezra’s head. Then, it thrust upward the next instant, striking directly toward the center of the scarlet shadow sword.
The dark, massive tail pierced the shadow sword, and the scarlet spiritual energy dissipated.
The Eight-Headed Serpent turned its head immediately toward Isaac, sensing in favonovel.com a trace of a frightening presence.
“Transform!” Isaac roared again as favonovel.com infused scarlet spiritual energy into the Skyrend Sword.
He pointed the sword toward the sky, and a five-clawed scarlet dragon instantly took shape, ferociously pouncing toward the serpent’s head.
By this time, Isaac had reached Emily’s side.
As Emily prepared to act, Isaac stated coldly, “You haven‘t recovered yet, so do not engage.”
Isaac flashed forward, continuing to charge ahead.
Below the dike were a few concrete pillars marking the river’s depth.
Isaac leaped over 30 feet from the dike, stepping on a pillar to propel himself further. And with the Skyrend Sword in hand, favonovel.com leaped directly toward the massive body of the Eight-Headed Serpent.
Upon watching this scene, Emily and Hera, who had rushed over, were left stunned.

But the next second, Isaac raised the Skyrend Sword above his head, bellowing, “Transform!”
At that moment, the crest on the Eight-Headed Serpent’s head stood erect like spikes. It emitted a sharp screech as it confronted the five-clawed scarlet dragon launched by Isaac.
