“You idiot, if you’re dead, how am I supposed to report back to Lady Rose?! What am I supposed to tell Donovan? You didn’t have to follow your comrade in death!” Hera’s angry yelling gradually turned into choked sobs. She couldn’t comprehend why anyone would sacrifice their life for a subordinate.
Lady Os wasn’t human. She would not die even if buried. But Isaac was made of flesh and blood!
As Hera frantically paced around, a strange noise suddenly emerged from the area of the cave entrance buried under rocks and dirt.
A huge rock creaked and began to move outward, little by little.
