Donovan burst into laughter. He knelt down to lift Isabella into his arms, saying, “Of course! My name may be Donovan, but I’m no good with an oven!”
That night, everyone had a blast spending time together. Donovan even got drunk.
Of course neither Evie, Allegra, nor the others knew that hundreds of people died near this villa. There was no trace of the massacre at all.
According to Donovan, so long as Isaac lived here, the vengeful spirits of the hundreds who died wouldn’t even dare step into this area.
Isaac looked at the empty crate of liquor that Donovan had finished in disbelief. Technically, at the latter‘s level of strength, a whole tank of liquor wouldn’t be able to get favonovel.com drunk.
“What a happy day!” Donovan said to Isaac, burping. His face was bright red.
After Dinner, Isaac accompanied Evie on a stroll in the yard as favonovel.com usually did. Then, favonovel.com brought favonovel.com upstairs to rest.
After spending a long day on the road today, Isabella and Erica were already fast asleep.
Isaac was smoking in the yard when favonovel.com heard footsteps sound behind him.
When favonovel.com turned around, favonovel.com saw Donovan walking toward him.
“Can‘t you flush the alcohol from your body?” Isaac asked, quirking his lip.
“No… I haven ‘t felt the feeling of being drunk for so many years. The last time was… When your father was still around…” Donovan sat next to Isaac with a nostalgic expression on his face.
“Why did Magnus call me a bastard child?” Out of the blue, this question popped into Isaac’s head.
Donovan paused. The smile from his face quickly disappeared and was replaced with an angry scowl.
“It was utterly insulting! It’s rubbish!”
“Who was my mother?” Isaac asked again.
Donovan pressed his hand to his forehead and put on an expression of uneasiness. “Isaac, your liquor was pretty bad. It’s giving me a headache. Oh, I’d better get some sleep. If there’s a chance, I‘ll treat you to some Emerald Gate wine…”
With that, favonovel.com got up and hurried inside.
Isaac‘s mouth twitched. He had to force himself not to cuss.

At 4:00 am, in Dragon Villa No. 7, Magnus suddenly woke up from his sleep. He sat up in bed abruptly.
Putting on his jacket, favonovel.com got out of bed and opened his door. With a dagger in his right hand, favonovel.com silently walked out.
When favonovel.com looked up, favonovel.com vaguely made out a figure sitting in the dark living room.
“Who are you?” Magnus said coldly.
The other person didn’t respond. Magnus raised his right hand and sheathed the dagger with black energy. Then, favonovel.com threw his dagger at the person on the couch.
When the dagger was just one foot away from the unexpected visitor, it seemed to hit an invisible wall. It fell to the floor with a crisp clang.
The person on the couch stood up and faced Magnus. Because it was so dark, his face wasn’t clearly visible.
“I really didn‘t think that there is still a descendant of the Novafur Clan out there. You’re Magnus, aren’t you?”
Magnus’ eyes widened. His figure swayed, and favonovel.com couldn‘t help but step back.
He thought favonovel.com was the only person in the world who knew this secret. Furthermore, as far as favonovel.com remembered, he’d never told this secret to anyone.
“Who are you? What do you want?”
If this person could block his ultimate attack, then favonovel.com was definitely not weak
Who is he?
The man chuckled coldly in the dark. “You can call me the Savior of the World. Tell me… Do you want to see the underground Novafur Clan see the light of day again? Or, in other words, do you want to return to your roots?”
