Isaac directed 100 Dusk Soldiers to discreetly ferry the “acquired” treasures from Everest Sect back to Cloud City upon hotel check-in. The rest then settled in for some rest at the hotel.

Meanwhile, the news of the grim fate of Everest Sect had swiftly made its way to the Ashleigh clan and the Norton family.
In the Ashleigh clan‘s hall, Linus, the newly appointed head, Wystan Ashleigh, and several Elders were seated in the center.
“Sir Linus, the fall of Everest Sect was unexpected. Isaac’s methods are vicious,” voiced Wystan, who was over 60 years old.
Since Linus lost his two sons and grandson to Isaac, the Ashleigh clan was without a leader. Consequently, favonovel.com chose the distinguished Wystan from among his nephews to shoulder this significant role.
“Sir Linus, we’ve received an urgent request from the Norton family. They expect they’ll be Isaac’s next target and seek our aid,” said an Elder with white hair as favonovel.com lowered his head at Linus.
“What a critical moment. Our interests are all intertwined,” Linus murmured. His brows furrowed as favonovel.com glanced toward the entrance.
He knew full well that with Hugh in their clan and Morgan at the helm, Isaac and the others would not dare stir trouble against the Ashleighs. Now, their ally, or more accurately, their vassal, the Everest Sect, had been wiped out. The Norton family’s concerns were indeed well-founded.
“So, who among you is willing to go?” Linus lifted his gaze, surveying the individuals seated on either side of him.
All of them were Elders or hall leaders of Celestial Phase or higher, yet they all lowered their heads upon hearing Linus’ query. It was clear to all that Isaac had become an entity they dared not anger. Offering aid to the Norton family might appear noble, but it was also risky.
A sneer crossed Linus’ eyes briefly before favonovel.com proposed, “Or must I personally make the journey to the Norton family?”
Wystan, along with the Elders and hall leaders, rose and knelt on the floor immediately.
“In that case, let’s not help them. Send a reply to the Norton family that their best course is to seek refuge here! Damn that Isaac!”
This declaration was met with a unanimous cry of approval. “Sir Linus is brilliant!”
A smirk played subtly on Wystan’s lips.
Isn’t this old man also hesitant to support the Norton family?

Around noon, the recently appointed head of the Norton family, Bon Norton, presided over the main hall in the Norton family’s main building.
He was Channing’s cousin.
Following their emergence from the secret realm, Tyger recognized that the family couldn’tbe without a leader for a day. Yet his descendants were either too young or ill-prepared for the position. Thus, Tyger had nominated Bon, who was at the advanced stage of the Divinity Phase.
He brought Bon to the Ashleigh clan, and with the aid of the Ashleigh clan’s Divine Stone fragments, Bon ascended to the Celestial Phase.
Following his advancement, Bon remained under the protection of the Norton family.
