Beneath them stretched an expanse of low-rise buildings. These buildings were patrolled by numerous guards, particularly around the loft in the center of the area.
Shortly, an elder clad in a long robe hastened into the loft, only to reemerge swiftly after.
About ten minutes had passed before Isaac’s lips twisted into a cynical grin. He said, “It appears Lucius is more sly than anticipated. Let’s move!”
Isaac and Hera headed straight for the loft once they landed on their feet.
Hundreds of guards noticed them and shouted, quickly surrounding them in the process. Then, the door to the loft swung open.
Lucius, who was clad in a gray-white robe, emerged with an icy expression.
