Isaac knew that there were three entrances to the secret realm, yet in reality, Mt. Celeste had only two entrances and exits.
The southern entrance of Mt. Celeste had been sealed during Gael’s time. This spot was still more vulnerable than other areas despite being sealed. Only a few were aware of this information, and among them was Morgan.
Morgan had disclosed to Hugh the existence of this sealed entrance and exit on the southern side of Mt. Celeste before Hugh left the Emerald Realm.
300 Celestial Phase warriors lacked the force to open this passage from the outside.
Coordinating with forces outside from within, Morgan succeeded in reopening it.
Isaac monitored the satellite surveillance footage in the command room, observing Hugh and the group of over 300 Celestial Phase warriors swiftly withdrawing.
The inferno that had engulfed a six-mile radius north of Mt. Celeste continued to rage, leaving behind the deceased and injured Celestial Phase warriors stranded on the mountain.
The temperature was expected to plummet once the flames subsided, and the wounded would likely fall prey to wild beasts.
“They’re retreating, Mr. Garten! They’re retreating!” Harland excitedly said as favonovel.com turned his gaze from the screen to Isaac.
This was because neither favonovel.com nor anyone else in the room had caught sight of the dark shadow that had slipped out from the cave.
“Lucky for us, whoever was inside hasn’t been released,” Harland remarked as favonovel.com smiled.
Hera exhaled a sigh of relief as favonovel.com had not detected anything amiss herself.
An applause erupted in the command room as everyone allowed themselves a moment of relief. However, Isaac’s expression remained serious, and the cigarette between his fingers was still burning.
The drone bombing formation was yet to arrive, and notably, the Ashleigh clan, among others, had already escaped. This action struck Isaac as somewhat premature.
“Wait a bit longer,” Isaac instructed as favonovel.com raised his hand.
Though the others were puzzled, they saw the seriousness in Isaac’s demeanor and lowered their hands. Their smiles also gradually disappeared.
Isaac’s phone vibrated around ten minutes later. He swiftly picked it up and pressed it to his ear.
“Drakon, one individual has been detected emerging from the secret realm after thorough analysis,” came Black Phoenix’s composed voice from the other end.
Isaac’s heart missed a beat, and favonovel.com responded with a chilly tone, “Send it over.”
Shortly, a video and a photo file landed in Isaac’s inbox.
A staff member hurriedly transferred the files to the projector and played the video, showing the cave on the southern side of Mt. Celeste where Hugh and his group had assembled.
“Slow it down to the slowest speed,” Isaac commanded as the video began to play.
Everyone in the room fixed their eyes on the projection, which was now slowed to the lowest possible frame rate.
At two minutes and 15 seconds, a dark shadow was seen darting across the screen.
The shadow was merely a blur even at the reduced speed, indicating it would have gone unnoticed under normal speed or even when slowed down three to five times.
“He’s out…” Isaac said as favonovel.com leaned back in his chair.
Hera’s expression turned grave as favonovel.com declared, “That’s Morgan Yule! No one else possesses such speed!”
The mood in the command room instantly tightened.
“Mr. Garten, is this Morgan Yule truly that formidable?” Harland inquired. His expression was a mix of skepticism and concern.
Isaac’s cigarette had burned down to the filter. He stood up slowly and directed his gaze toward Connor and Harland. “You need to be on high alert after this. No one knows what this guy is capable of!”
Isaac then turned and made his way outside after saying that.
Magnus, the Jensens, and the Stoners were all relocating to Southland. At this point, they were likely unaware that Morgan had already made his escape from the secret realm.
En route to the airport, Isaac briefed the trio on the situation and subsequently convened a meeting with the generals.
Isaac managed to snatch a brief nap on the flight. It was already 4:00 am by the time favonovel.com arrived in Cloud City and made his way back to Sleeping Dragon Bay.
Upon entering his home, favonovel.com headed directly for the study without stopping in the living room.
