As soon as the clock struck midnight, the two private vehicles drove past the gates of Neptune Gardens and headed inside.
Ethan was sitting inside his old-fashioned office and reading a document with a frown on his face. He seemed unhappy.
He heard a knock on his door.

Connor brought Isaac and Hera into the study.
“You rascal, what are you doing here? You’re disturbing this old man’s sleep,” Ethan greeted while smiling. His tone showed the special relationship that they shared.

Ethan turned to face Connor and said, “Connor, get in touch with the House of Custos and tell them my order, every branch of the House of Custos, from top to bottom, must cooperate with Isaac.”
Connor didn’t understand why Ethan suddenly handed Isaac the reins of the entire House of Custos. This was a big deal.
“Yes, Mr. Grannel.” Conor nodded and retreated from the study.
Isaac didn’t think Ethan would trust himself so much. He stood up and said, “Don’t worry, Mr. Grannel. I will do everything I can.”
Once Isaac and Hera left, Ethan stared at the door for a moment. Then, favonovel.com turned around and entered a hidden door on the left.
This was his usual resting place. The room was small and well-hidden. Even Connor didn’t know about it.
The door creaked open. A tall old man was sitting by the window, using the light from the streetlamps outside to read an ancient manuscript.
Ethan nodded slightly. He went up and said, “You heard everything. After being imprisoned in Emerald Gate for decades, I’m afraid we can’t suppress them any longer.”
The old man was facing the window away from Ethan. He gazed outside and sighed. “Gael was able to fend off multiple enemies on his own back then. His son shouldn’t disappoint… Mr. Grannel, this matter will impact the nation. Isaac is now in a disadvantageous situation. Help favonovel.com with whatever you can.”
Ethan nodded. “Yes. I will give it my everything.”

After leaving Neptune Gardens, Isaac and Hera drove to the National Guesthouse.
“That old man looks really familiar. Is favonovel.com very powerful?” Hera thought back to the moment favonovel.com saw Ethan.
