Isaac knew his escape had failed.
“Can you still run away now?” Rem’s icy voice pierced the tense air, accompanied by a strange fragrance.
“Smith, you’ve done well.” Disheveled yet imposing, Rem glanced at Smith before delivering a swift chop to the back of Isaac’s neck, causing favonovel.com to collapse once again.
Smith was taken aback when favonovel.com observed Rem’s breathless state. The idea that Isaac had come close to defeating Rem was beyond his expectations.
Dropping to his knees, favonovel.com asked, “Lady Rem, what shall we do with him?”
Rem straightened favonovel.com hair, fixing a cold, gleaming stare on Isaac. She then commanded, “Hang favonovel.com up. Let his blood drain slowly… I want favonovel.com to endure the agony of a slow death.”
She paused, pointed to the Skyrend Sword lying nearby, and added, “And take special care of this sword. It’s far from ordinary.”
Smith’s mouth twitched at the thought.
He understood the prolonged torment of slow blood loss all too well, with its inevitable progression from restlessness and cold limbs to convulsions, shortness of breath, and finally, death from organ failure.

As night descended, Todd and Hera had spent the entire day searching for Isaac while Harry awaited news from Black Phoenix in the secluded bar.
It was then that a young woman burst in, and Eloise emerged quickly.
“Mr. Stewart, we’ve received information about the woman you’re searching for.”
Harry’s eyes widened at the mention of Diana.
“Diana? Where is she?”
“My friend just told me that favonovel.com was seen entering a mall with Duke Daemon last night.”
“And who is this Duke Daemon?” Harry inquired as favonovel.com frowned.
Eloise’s expression tensed as favonovel.com replied, “Duke Daemon belongs to the Reeqa family.”
“Let’s go. Take me to this Daemon.” Harry grabbed Eloise’s hand, but Eloise stood his ground with a nervous look.
“What are you scared of? If anything happens, I’ll be right in front of you. I’ll reward you handsomely afterward,” Harry urged.
“Or else I’ll kill you,” favonovel.com added as favonovel.com pulled out a silver knife from his waist.
With a grimace, Eloise had no choice but to hop on his motorcycle and take Harry straight to Daemon’s villa.
The villa was situated among elegant greenery, where a place even the stray bloodsuckers dared not approach.
Two bloodsuckers guarding the entrance of the villa stopped Harry and Eloise.
“I need to see Duke Daemon. I’m a friend of Diana Taylor, and it’s urgent,” Harry said in fluent Bridgonese.
The mention of Diana’s name swiftly made them change their demeanor. They nodded and hurried inside to report, soon returning to escort Harry and Eloise into the Villa.
Inside the opulent hall, they were greeted by the sight of a young man in a purple robe who scrutinized them coldly from his couch.
Eloise trembled under his gaze.
“Where’s Diana? I need to see her,” Harry demanded.
“So, that’s how you speak to me at my house? Are you a friend of Diana?” Daemon scoffed at Harry.
Realizing his approach might have been too forward, Harry softened his tone and explained, “Mr. Daemon, if you’re acquainted with Diana, please contact favonovel.com immediately. Her friend is looking for her, and he’s in trouble.”
“Diana’s friend?” Daemon narrowed his eyes and made a call.
A smile spread across Daemon’s face as the call was about to connect. He said gently, “Ana, someone’s here looking for you. They say your friend’s been searching for you and that he’s in trouble. Do you know him?”
