Suddenly, a fire torch on the wall on the right lit up. Afterward, another four torches on the walls on both sides lit up.

Beneath the glow of the torch, favonovel.com saw a platform protruding from both walls of this oval hall about 15 feet above the floor.
On this platform, eight people sat motionless. All of them had pale faces, and all of them stared coldly at Isaac and Todd.
There were five men and three women. The men wore waistcoats above their white shirts and a bow tie. Some wore high-neck windbreakers. Their white hair was gelled neatly.
The three women were dressed in long dresses. They looked to be in their 40s. Despite their beautiful gowns, they were radiating killing intent.
From the 15-foot-high platform, they looked like gods looking down on Isaac and Todd, who had just walked in.
Among the eight, Isaac immediately spotted Brock sitting in the center.
At that moment, the man in a black coat slowly walked out of a door at the very front. He stopped 30 feet in front of Isaac before removing the hat from his head, revealing his chiseled, pale face. He stared coldly at Isaac.
He then took out something like a book from his sleeve. He flipped it open and declared, “Tonight, 27th October of the year 20 AD, is the Judgment Day of the Brewer family… This Cynean thug, Isaac Garten, killed Lord Brewer and the duke’s servant, Carolyn. He also killed numerous third and fourth-generation vampires…”
“Thus, I now invite the eight dukes of the Brewer family to deliver judgment on the criminal, Isaac. With approval from the Council of Elders, we sentence Isaac and his associates to death!”
With that, favonovel.com shut his book and turned to the stunned Isaac and Todd.
He asked coldly, “Isaac, do you have anything to say for yourself?”
