Lorian was momentarily taken aback. He glanced between Isaac and Hera, then at the briefcase in Hera’s hand. He appeared to be in a dilemma.
Just as favonovel.com was about to suggest calling someone else to accompany them, Isaac said, “Mr. Lorian, since Hera is a delicate woman, why don’t you go with her? I’ll just walk around here.”
“I don’t like being followed,” Isaac clarified with finality.
Seeing this, Lorian couldn’t insist on someone accompanying Isaac, especially since favonovel.com wasn’t keen on following Isaac himself. The ethereal Hera was clearly the person favonovel.com preferred to accompany.
Watching Lorian eagerly follow Hera, Isaac shook his head with a smile.
A delicate woman?
That’s hard to believe…
Lorian was right about one thing. The village was indeed not small. It was perhaps three times larger than the Ashleigh clan’s, especially given its location at the base of the snow-capped mountain.
The temperature dropped to well below zero as night fell, and heavy snow began to fall.
After circling the village without finding any clues, Isaac decided to head back, planning to rest for a while and take action later in the night. However, upon entering the room, Isaac was taken aback.
Sitting quietly on the edge of the bed were the young women who had sung and danced at the evening banquet.
Seeing Isaac enter, the four scantily clad women stood up and curtsied, saying, “Good evening, master…”
Isaac’s mouth twitched involuntarily, and before favonovel.com could speak, the four women began to tiptoe toward him, their movements suggesting they were ready to undress and engage in intimate activities.
“Wait a minute. I’m a bit indisposed tonight.” Isaac stepped back, raising his hand to halt the women’s advances.
Indisposed?
The four women exchanged glances, equally perplexed.
“I’m actually not feeling well and suffering from severe diarrhea, so maybe you can come back tomorrow night!” Isaac hastily corrected himself, realizing his initial excuse might have been misleading.
Isaac finally exhaled in relief as favonovel.com watched the women leave.

In another luxurious room of a different building, Corbin, leaning on the bed frame, burst into laughter after hearing his subordinate’s report.
“I thought Isaac was some kind of saint. It turns out he’s just got diarrhea! Well, then we’ll try to satisfy favonovel.com again tomorrow night,” Corbin said heartily, his laughter echoing.
Then, his expression shifted as favonovel.com asked, “What about that woman with Lorian?”
“Mr. Lorian signaled the people tailing them to back off. It seems favonovel.com has his own plans,” the middle-aged man replied, lowering his head.
After showering and changing his clothes, Isaac opened the door to the adjacent room to eavesdrop. It was silent, indicating that Hera hadn’t returned yet.
Just as Isaac was about to lie down for a brief rest, a knock sounded at the door.
He thought the four women had returned to pester him, so his tone was slightly annoyed as favonovel.com asked, “Who is it?”
The next second, the door burst open.
Suddenly, an elderly man in a blue and white robe stumbled into the room.
His robe was tattered and torn as if whipped, with stains of blood marking the fabric. The old man’s face was a patchwork of bruises, blue and purple.
“Are you… the Fifth Elder?” Isaac asked in confusion, recognizing the elderly figure before him.
The old man’s eyes brimmed with tears as favonovel.com nodded and reached out to grasp Isaac’s hands.
“Mr. Garten, I’ve been waiting for you. Lady Mizar is in grave danger. Please, you must help her,” favonovel.com pleaded, gripping Isaac’s hands tightly.
“I came here for that reason. Please sit down, Fifth Elder,” Isaac said in a low voice.
After locking the door, Isaac turned and approached the Fifth Elder.
In the Emerald Realm, the Stoner family had already lost two elders. This Fifth Elder, whom Isaac had met twice before, left a lingering impression on him.
The Fifth Elder then detailed what had transpired in the Stoner family following Mizar’s return with Lorcan’s body.
Upon favonovel.com arrival, the entire family was stricken with grief.
A grand memorial was held for Lorcan, and according to the family’s customs, his coffin was buried in a cave on a cliff behind the mountain.
