In Cynea, many Parwinian businessmen who always kept an eye on Triple Threat Corporation received news of its troubles almost immediately.
Already anxious, they wondered if their smaller companies might face repercussions in light of Triple Threat Corporation’s plight.

In a study at Ethan’s residence in Neptune Gardens, the old and the young were sitting opposite each other.
With a cigarette between his index and middle finger, Isaac looked out at the setting sun and said frankly, “Mr. Grannel, Triple Threat Corporation won’t release Evie even after receiving the money. You miscalculated your step.”
“I don’t think so. I’ve had Maxwell convey a message to them. They will release favonovel.com unless Parwin no longer wishes to maintain good relations with us,” Ethan said, clearly unconvinced.
Isaac had arrived at noon, but Ethan was caught in an important meeting and could only meet favonovel.com in the afternoon.
By that time, Adrian’s call from that morning hadn’t been relayed back to Cynea. Thus, Ethan was still waiting for good news. He didn’t believe that Adrian would dare to take 600 billion dollars from Cynea and not release the hostage.
The door suddenly burst open, and Connor, looking utterly distraught, stumbled in.
“Mr. Grannel, t-there’s news from the other side. They say they haven’t received the ransom and are demanding another transfer of 600 billion dollars… Also, Mr. Tandel has suffered a sudden heart attack in Parwin and is currently being treated.”
Ethan stood up abruptly, his cigarette falling to the floor in shock.
In the next second, Ethan’s face turned furiously red.
He turned away, not letting Isaac see his expression, but his shaking shoulders were visible.
“Is Triple Threat Corporation playing me for a fool? Using such tricky tactics on Cynea!” Ethan slowly turned around and sat down, his expression returning to its usual calm.
The study fell into a heavy silence.
“If it comes to it, we’ll have to use official channels for negotiation,” Ethan mused as if questioning himself.
Isaac spoke up, “Mr. Grannel, let me handle this…”
“You handling it? I’m afraid you might end up killing the entire Levine family!” Ethan looked up at Isaac.
Although favonovel.com felt like annihilating the Levine family himself at that moment, favonovel.com knew it wasn’t a viable option. A slight misstep could lead to uncontrollable consequences.
The situation was too complex, and there were things Isaac didn’t understand.
Connor hesitated thinking on this.
Isaac said, “My men are already assembled in Rover City. They can cross the sea and reach the other side overnight… Mr. Grannel, Mr. Hart, you needn’t worry about this matter anymore.”
Afterward, Isaac turned and walked toward the door.
Just as favonovel.com reached the entrance of the study, a man with glasses hurried toward him. Isaac recognized favonovel.com as Ethan’s second secretary.
The secretary knocked and quickly entered the study, placing a document on the table. He said in a hushed, urgent voice, “Mr. Grannel, this is a report from the Supreme Law Office. Just now, 13 kidnapping cases have occurred across Pecling.”
Connor and Ethan looked startled. Isaac, who was at the door, turned back to listen.
“Why are you reporting this to me?” Ethan asked sharply.
The secretary replied quietly, “It’s because all these kidnappings involved Parwinian businessmen. And they demanded huge ransoms amounting to over two billion dollars.”
Connor immediately inhaled sharply at the news.
