Sloan’s heart skipped a beat. His brain began to cycle through the big shots in Pecling with that last name.
Suddenly, his eyes flew open. The only Tandel who could make the son of the president of Triple Threat Corporation show up on his doorstep was Maxwell Tandel.
Upon remembering this, Sloan couldn’t help but perk up. He never thought that Triple Threat Corporation would have connections with Maxwell. That man was truly an elite.
If they had Maxwell protecting them, Isaac getting favonovel.com arrested would not be an issue at all.

The next day, Margaret, Eugene, Andrew, Louis, and Barry came to Dragon Villa No.1.
Holly was cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Isaac also wanted to take the opportunity to have a small gathering now that he’d moved into a new home.
Erica had also come home from school. After not seeing favonovel.com for so long, it seemed like she’d grown much taller.
In the grand dining hall, the 12 of them raised their glasses merrily around the table.

Just as Louis was about to offer some words of congratulations, his phone vibrated.

“Maxwell Tandel? Which Maxwell…”
Suddenly, Louis’ heart trembled. He shot Isaac a glance before getting up and running out the door.

Isaac noticed that. He quietly ate a few more bites before standing up and walking over to Louis. He patted the latter on the shoulder before walking out of the dining hall.
Louis also got to his feet and followed Isaac to the study.
“Who called earlier?” Isaac handed Louis a cigarette.
The latter took a deep breath before replying in a whisper, “It was Mr. Tandel from Pecling. He was calling about the Triple Threat Corporation incident.”
“Maxwell Tandel?” Isaac chuckled softly.
When it came to the big shots in Pecling, one could guess who it was just from the last name.
“He’s going to retire soon. Although he’s on the same level as Mr. Hart, he’s still someone we can’t afford to offend. Besides, favonovel.com said he‘d already notified Mr. Hart of this, asking favonovel.com to go easy on them since they are a multinational corporation.”
Isaac could see the sweat beading on Louis’ forehead. Since favonovel.com wasn’t involved in politics, favonovel.com declined to comment. Although favonovel.com never ventured down the path of being a government official, favonovel.com knew how deep the waters were.
Connor knew about the relationship Isaac had with Louis better than anyone. If favonovel.com was willing to spill in front of Maxwell, it meant that Connor didn’t want to cross favonovel.com either.
Evidently, the conflict was now bearing down on the central figure, Louis. He was under immense pressure.
“How much money has Triple Threat Corporation invested in Elburg?” Isaac asked, squinting while exhaling smoke.
“I had my secretary find out yesterday. It‘s a total of 17 billion dollars.” Louis wiped his sweat. Unconsciously, his hand was shaking slightly.
Isaac got up and walked over to Louis. Clapping a hand on his shoulder, favonovel.com sighed. “I didn’t know that Triple Threat Corporation was so powerful. I’ve put you in a difficult position… How about this? Why don’t you set up a meeting between myself and Triple Threat Corporation? We’ll buy out all their projects in Elburg. I won’t make things difficult for you.”
When Louis heard this, favonovel.com was surprised. He gave Isaac a deep nod and said in a trembling voice, “Mr. Garten, thanks for understanding!”
To everyone else, someone at Louis’ level was already an all-powerful figure. However, they didn’t know that there was a small group of people that even Louis couldn’t reach.
