Isaac watched as Elliot knelt at his feet.
Suddenly, his lips curved into a smile. “I certainly value the Divine Stone fragment and want it very much…”
As though favonovel.com now saw a sliver of hope, Elliot nodded frantically. “I’ll give it to you. If you let me live, I’ll bring it to you right now!”
“But if I leave you alive, how would your fallen comrades rest in peace?” The smile instantly disappeared from Isaac’s face.
Elliot stared at Isaac, frozen. His mouth fell open, and favonovel.com loosened his grip.
All of a sudden, favonovel.com grabbed onto Isaac’s thigh forcefully again. He roared fiercely, “Do you think you’re all that? One day, the powers of the west will rip you to threads. Isaac, you will die a miserable death! Your wife and kids will not survive either!”
Lucas instantly stepped forward and shoved Elliot to the ground.

The Temple of Drakon’s soldiers followed orders and quickly gathered outside Golden City. Then, they retreated 30 miles.
The citizens of the city were allowed to leave their homes. Kellan and the others were quickly found by the Darkitian soldiers and sent to the hospital.
The morning rays shone on the flat desert terrain. Hundreds of thousands of Dusk Soldiers lined up in an organized manner, giving off a formidable presence.
They had emerged victorious in this battle in Golden City. Despite losing some of their comrades, they managed to catch the traitor Elliot and fight the Darkitian Army until they raised their white flag.
The hundreds of thousands of Dusk Soldiers looked ahead at the 15-foot-tall platform at the front. On the right was a flag pole that was 30 feet tall.
The horn blew. A Dusk Soldier released the Flag of Drakon from his hand and began to raise it slowly.
The flag was white and embroidered with a flying red dragon. The red dragon looked alive in the sunlight as though it was about to fly into the sky at any moment.
Elliot knelt on the stage with ropes bound all over his body. His power core had already been crushed. His hair blew in the wind as favonovel.com watched the Flag of Drakon slowly rise to the peak. His face was etched with pain.
Dressed in a black military uniform, Lucas walked on stage. He gave Isaac and the other generals seated in the first row a glance. Then, favonovel.com read out the judgment. “The former eastern general of the Temple of Drakon, Elliot Poole, has committed an unforgivable crime. Today, we raise the Flag of Drakon to bring favonovel.com to a public trial!”
“The first offense was betraying the Temple of Drakon and causing the deaths of 27 thousand comrades!”
“The second offense was betraying his country to work with the enemy!”
“The third offense was forcing his troops to bring harm to their fellow citizens of the same nation!”
“With agreement from Drakon, I now sentence Elliot Poole to capital punishment by skinning!”
Lucas paused for a moment before continuing in a loud voice, “We will also surveil Elliot Poole’s family for the remainder of their lives so that they are barred from partaking in business or politics!”
The last condition was something Isaac added at the last minute. This punishment never existed in the past. He did so because favonovel.com didn’t want a second Elliot in the Temple of Drakon.
Five Dusk Soldiers walked on stage carrying special torture tools.
Cries of agony reached the skies under the gazes of hundreds of thousands of Dusk Soldiers. Everyone watched what happened to the former general turned traitor. The generals in the front row also saw what Drakon did to betrayers.

After lunch, Isaac asked his generals to lead their subordinates back to their own territories. Meanwhile, he, Hera, and Todd took a helicopter to Colorino.
On the plane, Isaac called Allegra twice, but both calls went unanswered. He left a text before closing his eyes to get some rest.
At night, favonovel.com had dinner at the Yves family home. He sat down next to Evie and looked at favonovel.com growing belly. It made favonovel.com feel worried yet excited at the same time.
But favonovel.com was mostly happy. Thus, favonovel.com downed a good amount of alcohol together with Jeremiah.
