He then said to Lupinus, “Get in touch with Andrew. Ask favonovel.com to find a powerful mining company in Cynea and have them send a group of miners here as soon as possible.”
“Huh? Isaac, are you going to start mining?” Todd was confused.
“After we lost so many of our comrades, did you think we came here just to observe?” Isaac was speechless.

“Absolutely not. We should just blast them with our bombers and unconventional weapons. We can’t let them leave Darkit at all costs,” said another official in a cool tone.
Hayes’ face darkened further. He looked up at his advisor and asked, “Rooney, what do you think?”
Rooney Killan was silent for a moment. He looked at the other leaders before turning back to Hayes and nodded. “Lord Paramount, I don’t think it is wise to incite another conflict. We still have several thousand prisoners being held captive within the Golden City…”
“The Temple of Drakon has seized the entire city. There are a hundred thousand reinforcement troops outside the city who do not dare to charge inside. Inside the city, there are hundreds of thousands of citizens…”
“If we go with either of their suggestions, your dignity and reputation will be at stake even if we manage to destroy the Temple of Drakon, Lord Paramount. If we trade the lives of thousands of soldiers and hundreds of thousands of citizens for victory, we still lose.”

He clearly heard the other party suck in a gasp. Then, the latter said warmly, “Isaac, I admit that we have crossed the line, but you’ve already taught us a lesson. Enough is enough, alright?”
“Huh? ‘Enough is enough’?” Isaac snorted coldly.
“Hayes, you calling me proves that you’re not a moron. However, I’m not one either. If you hadn’t run out of tricks up your sleeve, would you be calling me?” Isaac said with a cold snort.
The other party fell silent.
“In Cynea, there’s this saying, ‘The one with the sharpest sword decides the truth, while the one with the biggest canon decides what dignity is.’ If you want to negotiate with me, show me your sincerity, got it? Oh, just to let you know, I really despise traitors.”

Darkit was a very populous nation. Lucas was actually worried that they would do something crazy, like gather a million soldiers to attack them again.
