Elliot picked up a walkie-talkie and yelled, “All the Dusk Soldiers are to move now! Get into formation. The enemy is here!”
Thousands of Dusk Soldiers spilled out from the buildings surrounding the hotel, filling every inch of the space inside and outside the premises.
From five thousand soldiers, it went up to ten thousand soldiers and, lastly, to 30 thousand soldiers.
When Black Phoenix saw this from favonovel.com window, favonovel.com heart clenched. Her dim eyes suddenly lit up with a fiery light. She knew that Isaac must have come. However, seeing Dusk Soldiers fill the streets surrounding the hotel, favonovel.com began to worry. This hotel also had highly skilled Darkit fighters as well as vampires.
The three figures zigzagged toward the hotel.
Brock was in the grand lobby of the hotel, having changed into a tailcoat. Next to favonovel.com were Elliot and Carolyn, who was wearing a black leather jacket. The burly Zeppelin was also there.
Dozens of armed soldiers from Darkit lined the four walls of the lobby. They wore blue armor and wielded long swords. Unlike regular soldiers, they possessed several times more strength.
Everyone looked solemn. Elliot frowned deeply. He knew this day would come at some point, but it was really here now. He had to face Isaac, which filled his heart with unease.
“How long would it take for Isaac to come in?” Zeppelin asked coolly in Bridgonese.
Brock looked at Elliot.
The latter snorted. “I have 30 thousand Dusk Soldiers outside. It would take Isaac and his gang at least an hour if they could even slay a path inside. Besides, the fighting would use up most of their spiritual energy!”
Feeling uneasy, favonovel.com asked the lieutenant behind favonovel.com for confirmation, “Are you sure only three of them came?”
The lieutenant nodded. “There were only three of them.”
“Heh, Isaac is overestimating himself once again.” Elliot laughed coldly, and the fear in his chest eased slightly.
Several streets away, Isaac, Hera, and Todd were zigzagging ahead.
Suddenly, at the very front, Isaac stopped abruptly. The streets in front of favonovel.com were packed with Dusk Soldiers in formation.
The big street looked like it was filled with a tidal wave.
“Aren’t these your Dusk Soldiers?” Todd found them familiar.
They wore black armor and had a clean buzzcut. They wielded swords in their hands and had handguns hanging from their belts. He’d seen them before.
When the Dusk Soldiers saw Isaac walking toward them with his hands behind his back, they began to hesitate.
Fear, unease, nervousness, but mostly guilt clouded their faces.
Seeing this, Isaac suddenly had an idea. Another thought came to his mind.
“You don’t recognize me anymore?” Isaac asked, looking at the Dusk Soldiers at the front.
“I’m sorry, D-Drakon! L-Lord Poole asked us to s-stop you here!” one of them said while gasping in fear.
Isaac snorted coldly. “Lord Poole? Elliot has become your lord now? Can you even stop me?”
With that, favonovel.com slowly pulled out the Skyrend Sword.
When the spiritual energy in his power core surged onto the sword, a massive burst of resentful energy exploded from his sword.
The Dusk Soldiers at the front felt their legs shaking. Their thighs trembled as though they were about to keel over any second.
“Have you forgotten who formed the Dusk Soldiers? Have you forgotten what happens when one treats me as the enemy?” Isaac took another step forward, and murderous energy began to emanate from him.
This murderous energy had tempered through bloodshed and flames on the battlefield. It was a pressure that all the Dusk Soldiers and Dawn Soldiers could only wish for!
Suddenly, the first few Dusk Soldiers tossed their weapons aside, shivering. They fell to their knees.
“I’m sorry, Drakon! I’m sorry! We really wouldn’t dare!”
