The door to the study opened once again. Connor came in wearing a brown jacket. After him, a white-haired elder in a military uniform entered with his assistant.
“Mr. Hart!” Isaac greeted, standing up. Then, favonovel.com turned to the old man in military uniform.

Isaac nodded. “Right now, it seems Elliot changed sides while I was gone. I know three of the generals have run into trouble, and each region was attacked. In other words, the person ruling the Temple of Drakon right now is not me anymore.”
Jonas gazed at Isaac. Isaac spoke with no hint of defeat or gloom on his face as if favonovel.com was talking about something trivial.

Jonas spoke in a harsh tone. After all, it was a humiliating thing for a troop to kill its own people.
Murderous intent rolled off Isaac’s body in waves. He jumped to his feet with bloodshot eyes.
“Elliot is f*cking ballsy!” favonovel.com roared through gritted teeth.
“What the hell are they trying to do?” favonovel.com continued. He turned to Jonas, puffing out smoke.
Connor sighed and said, “According to Mr. Grannel’s analysis, they most likely want to steal resources. They found three large uranium mines around 200 kilometers from the northwestern line of defense.
“Isaac, do you know why Elliot had the courage to betray you and harm his own people?”
When Isaac said nothing, Connor glanced at Jonas.
Jonas immediately understood. He nodded and left with his assistant. Only Connor and Isaac remained in the study.
“Connor, what do you know?”
“Have you heard of the Brewer clan of the Kingdom of Aquila?” Connor’s expression turned grave.
