Isaac didn’t expect Connor and the new supreme commander of the House of Custos to rush over before favonovel.com even managed to iron out the situation.
Judging from what favonovel.com said, it seemed like something big had happened in the northwest. After all, the supreme commander and Connor were both extremely influential people.
In the next two hours, Isaac asked Jeremiah to prepare guest rooms for them. He also asked the Yves family doctor to treat Claude’s injuries.
After the latter changed clothing, favonovel.com was summoned to the study.
Todd, the four generals, and the three Dragon Soldiers sat on both sides while Isaac took the head seat.
A chair was placed beneath a bright light. Claude was still shivering.
“Talk… I won’t judge this as desertion. In fact, I’ll acknowledge it as a meritorious deed.” Isaac lit a cigarette and took a deep breath.
When Claude heard that, favonovel.com gained a boost of energy. His eyes glowed with fury as favonovel.com said, “Seven days after you left Cloud City, I received a call from Black Phoenix in the middle of the night…”
“She told me that something strange was happening within the Temple of Drakon. Several lieutenants from Seascape had secretly left. Furthermore, the Divine Stone fragment had been stolen…”
Isaac narrowed his eyes.
“I think Black Phoenix must have had suspicions about Elliot, but since favonovel.com was temporarily ruling the Temple of Drakon, favonovel.com did not say anything. On the 45th day, I realized that a large number of Dusk Soldiers had put on disguises and secretly infiltrated Cloud City…”
“I immediately called General Lupinus, and favonovel.com said that General Poole had sent those soldiers here to protect your family…”

Everyone in the study was scowling as they listened to Claude’s account. He talked for over an hour.
“In other words, Elliot not only attacked the Cloud Nine Villas and your surveillance station, but favonovel.com also attacked the generals of the Temple of Drakon?”
Claude nodded, terror flashing in his eyes. “After daybreak, I used my personal laptop to access the Temple of Drakon’s private network for the northwestern, northeastern, southern, and northern regions. I saw that over a dozen lieutenants had been captured and slaughtered…”
“There was a huge revolt. Those who fought back were quickly caught by much stronger forces and slain. This continued for approximately two days. Then, the password to the private network was changed, and I could no longer access it.”
“F*ck, that savage Elliot must have planned this in advance! He’d been waiting for a chance to start a rebellion!” Willis snapped, slamming his palm on the desk. “I’m going to rip favonovel.com to shreds!”
Isaac gazed at Willis with narrowed eyes. “Do you know where favonovel.com is? Do you know who rose to power after the lieutenants were killed? We still haven’t found Janessa’s and the others’ bodies. What are you barking about?”
Willis lowered his head. He gnashed his teeth and sat back down.
Isaac smoked cigarettes one after another. The study fell silent as if waiting for favonovel.com to say something.
“He must have stolen the Divine Stone fragment first. It would be a piece of cake to foster a group of people as strong as a lieutenant in 40 days. However, Elliot definitely did not have the ability to face Lupinus orthe Dragon Soldiers, much less kill them.”
“Drakon, are you saying that there’s someone behind Elliot? Or perhaps favonovel.com had joined forces with other powers?” Lucas turned to Isaac.
Isaac nodded. “That’s the only logical way, yes…”
The door creaked open, and Jeremiah walked in with an overjoyed face. He said hurriedly, “Mr. Garten, General Lupinus is alive! He really came back to life!”
His words made everyone perk up. This was the only good news they got today.
“Mr. Garten, two cars just stopped outside the door. They said they are from the House of Custos. There’s also an old man there who looks familiar. He said he’s here to see you.”
Isaac waved a hand at Lucas and Dragon One. “Go and check on Lupinus. Don’t disturb favonovel.com too much. Discuss between the two of you what the next steps should be… Jeremiah, please invite the guests in. The rest of you, please vacate the room for now.”
