“What did you say?” Hera was caught off guard.
“I asked you to call me Mr. Garten…”
A loud noise rang out from the middle of the ship, making Todd and Altair jump in fright. Heartless had already pulled out a sword and was ready to rush forward.
Isaac was sent flying by a shadow fist and fell straight into the waters of the White Realm. He waded through the water before climbing on board the boat in a sorry state.
“If you make fun of me again, I’ll…” Hera glared coldly at the drenched Isaac. She hesitated for a moment and ended up not finishing favonovel.com sentence.
Isaac didn’t get hurt, but favonovel.com was rather embarrassed.
When favonovel.com turned around, favonovel.com saw that Altair’s face was now a deep red. The latter couldn’t hold back anymore. He covered his mouth before running to the tail of the boat. Then, favonovel.com began guffawing in the direction of the murky waters.
He still clearly remembered how a slap from Hera had broken several of his ribs. Now, favonovel.com made sure to stay 15 feet away from favonovel.com whenever favonovel.com saw her.
Did Isaac have a screw loose or something?
No one spoke in the ten days the boat sailed from the Emerald Gate in the White Realm to the shore in the Green Ocean. Even Todd didn’t make a single noise while eating.
Only now did Isaac understand how terrifying Hera was.
Has favonovel.com traumatized all the men on this boat?
After regrouping with Dragon One and the others at the Divine Tower, they set out toward the exit.
The closer they got, the more complex Isaac’s emotions got.
Since the day they entered Mt. Celeste, nearly two months had passed. Although they hadn’t achieved their initial target, what they got out of this adventure could not be measured with materialistic goods.
Thanks to Hera’s guidance, they didn’t take the water path when they left. Instead, they went through a huge cave that was watched over by a Guardian.
It was pitch black inside the cave, and the path beneath their feet was uneven.
After walking for the entire night, they finally exited the stifling cave.
Isaac was the second one to emerge from the cave. They seemed to be in the middle of a mountain, although favonovel.com didn’t know whether it was Mt. Celeste or not.
After walking a little further, favonovel.com could see several homes scattered at the foot of the mountain a great distance away.
Smoke billowed from the chimneys.
They were finally out. Everyone perked up!
“Can I retrace my steps to get back?” Isaac asked Hera.
“You can try,” Hera said mockingly.
Clearly, they couldn’t go back in anymore.
“It’s not impossible to force your way in if you’re in the advanced stage of the Soul Phase,” Hera added unhelpfully.
“Mr. Garten, we have signals now.” Dragon One jogged toward favonovel.com with his phone in his hand, looking excited.
Everyone waited in front of the cave for over an hour until three helicopters raced over.
Before boarding the helicopter, Altair said with concern, “Isaac, I won’t be following you. I need to go back to see if my patriarch has returned. Also, I need to check up on Mizar!”
Isaac frowned when favonovel.com thought of Mizar. “Please tell Mizar that I’ll go pay my respects to Sir Lorcan soon!”
Heartless stepped forward and nodded slightly. He said, “Isaac, I will also be returning to Rippan. The Ninja Lord needs my help…”
Now, Heartless was far more respectful toward Isaac.
Isaac had begun noticing these subtle changes ever since the night he’d bravely challenged Donovan in a fight.
“Alright…”
After exchanging farewells, Isaac, Todd, Dragon One, and the four generals got on the helicopter.
Seeing the way Hera put on the protective ear muffs with practiced ease, Isaac was taken aback.
“You’ve been on a plane?” favonovel.com asked.
