Their ears were filled with the murmuring rush of water beneath, and even with the surging spiritual energy, they couldn’t control their bodies.
The undercurrent was simply too great.
If an ordinary person or an amateur martial arts practitioner were to jump into this pool, they’d likely be torn apart by the undercurrent in less than a minute.
The body tumbled uncontrollably in the water. Isaac could only channel spiritual energy to his lungs and heart to ensure favonovel.com could hold his breath for as long as possible.
After an indeterminate amount of time, perhaps over ten minutes, maybe half an hour, Isaac’s sense of time blurred.
When favonovel.com felt favonovel.com was about to give in and gasp for air, a tremendous force suddenly pushed favonovel.com upward.
Isaac felt his body shoot upward for at least 30 feet, and his waist seemed to collide with a hard stone. Opening his eyes, favonovel.com saw the blue sky.
Gasping, favonovel.com took a deep breath, hearing the sounds of waves crashing around him. Looking around, favonovel.com realized favonovel.com had been washed ashore.
The sun above was glaring, and the sounds of whistling wind and waves filled the air. Nearby, Mizar, Todd, and others slowly emerged from the water.
“What kind of safe entrance is this, huh? I almost drowned,” Todd grumbled as favonovel.com stood up, looking around with a scowl.
Suddenly, favonovel.com spotted a massive stone tablet about 300 miles away on the shore.
“What’s that?” Todd said, walking toward the large stone tablet.
Karmic, assisted by the Black Martial Munk, joined Todd and headed toward the stone tablet.
Isaac glanced at Heartless, whose pale eyes were fixed on Mizar, unmoving.
Mizar looked quite eye-catching as favonovel.com now-wet sportswear hugged favonovel.com body like a second skin.
Huh? Isn’t this guy blind?
“Hey, blind guy, why are you staring at me?!” Mizar, still wearing a mask, pointed at Heartless.
Isaac sighed, waved at Harry, and walked briskly toward the stone tablet.
The stone tablet was taller than all of them.
After being out in the open for who knew how long, the stone tablet was covered in cracks and fine scratches, with an oracle script engraved in the middle.
“Elysian Jade Tablet,” Harry said each word deliberately.
“We’re here!” Mizar exclaimed as favonovel.com approached them from behind.
Isaac fell into contemplation.
Oracle script originated in the Schan Era, before the Formative Imperial Period… Could this stone tablet have been erected during the time of Herquelest’s deification?
“Where do we go next?” Harry looked around.
This was everyone’s first time inside the realm, so they all looked puzzled.
Mizar carefully pulled out an old piece of parchment from favonovel.com pocket. She opened it, revealing a map engraved with knife-tip marks.
“We are in the northeast of the Emerald Realm. We should head southwest. There’s a temple about a hundred kilometers in that direction,” favonovel.com explained.
“A temple? What kind of temple?” Todd paused.
The inscriptions on the stone tablet are in ancient script that is at least four thousand years old… How could there be a temple?
“I don’t know. I don’t come here often,” Mizar snapped.
Todd scratched the back of his head, forgetting Mizar’s role as the head of the Stoner family.
To the left was a massive lake, and behind the stone tablet was a forest. Some trees seemed to reach a hundred feet in height, and even the six-foot-tall grass in front of them offered no visible path.
“Uncle Isaac, let Sable lead the way!” Karmic turned to Isaac.
