Due to its damp and dark terrain year-round, some medicinal herbs could only grow here. Every two years, the munks of Carmine Temple Apothecary would come here to pick herbs.
After getting out of the car, everyone was on standby for orders.
Just as Isaac was about to say something, Zansam walked over and said, “Mr. Garten, let our people explore the paths first. After all, we live here.”
Isaac nodded.
Zansam instructed 20 munks in red clothes, as well as four Black Martial Munks, to split into four groups. Right before they set out, Isaac called out to them.
“Grand Abbot, these days, it’s more convenient to use high-end technology to spy on the enemy. After all, a human life is more precious…” He smiled at Zansam.
Lucas turned around and waved his hand.
Ten people quickly walked out of the troop of one thousand Dusk Soldiers behind him. These ten people were carrying five large black bags.
They quickly divided themselves into five groups. Five Dusk Soldiers quickly opened their backpacks and retrieved a few pieces of metallic equipment.
Within a few minutes, they assembled a small drone. The other five Dusk Soldiers were setting up the remote control. Then, the five drones quickly rose into the air.
With a low hum, the drones flew off.
Zansam and the other chief abbot gaped.
Isaac had brought a huge troop of special agents!

At that moment, under a tree on the top of the mountain, a bald man shrouded in a red cloak was staring down attentively.
From this vantage point, favonovel.com could clearly see the faces of Isaac and the others. However, favonovel.com didn’t spot the drones that were zooming through the forest discreetly.
After getting a rough estimate of how many people Isaac had brought, the man immediately stood up and dashed back into the mountain.
The five drones acted as high-definition digital eyes and began to survey White Wolf Valley.
Isaac and Zansam were each holding a display. On it, they could see the live footage of two drones.
Another half hour passed. The five drones had already infiltrated White Wolf Valley. It made a quick scan of the area, but besides the occasional wild animal appearing on the screen, they didn’t find any trace of Nubique or his men.
“Where are those bastards hiding?” Zansam put down the screen and gave Isaac a doubtful look.
As far as they know, Nubique had over a hundred people with him. Since Isaac was sure they’d come to White Wolf Valley, then they couldn’t have vanished into thin air.
“Chief Abbot, Mr. Garten, we have over a thousand people on our side. Let’s just dive in and search inch-by-inch. I doubt they can hide in the crevices of the ground,” the other chief abbot said furiously.
Isaac shook his head with a smile. “It’s too dangerous to go in like this. Yes, we do have a thousand people on our side, but those Dusk Soldiers are my brothers. I can’t let them die for nothing.”
“Well, if we shouldn’t go in and leave, what should we do?” The chief abbot was clearly anxious.
Isaac grabbed the map from Lucas’ hands and peered closely. Then, favonovel.com pointed at the other end of White Wolf Valley and asked, “There’s a natural barrier in the westernmost part of the gorge, right?”
“Yes, that’s Mount Zamack,” Zansam nodded.
Isaac turned to Lucas. “Lucas, send a reconnaissance team into the gorge to see if there are any swamps.”
“There’s no need for that. Mr. Garten, there’s a huge swamp in the middle of the gorge. We lost two munks from the Apothecary there before. I’m certain of this fact,” Zansam said.
Upon hearing that, Isaac raised his head to the sky. He smirked coldly and said, “Well, then we don’t have to enter. Let’s wait for the breeze to blow our way.”
“The breeze? What do you mean?” The other chief abbot was befuddled.
At the back, Lucas’ mouth twitched. He asked quietly, “Drakon, if we burn a place like this, wouldn’t the damage be too big?”
