The three-and-a-half-hour journey once again highlighted the vastness of Eastscape.
Carmine Temple stood on Mt. Yarra in the northeast of Eastscape, with over ten buildings and thousands of saints. The inside resembled a paradise. But, only one-third of the temple was open to the public, and the majority remained inaccessible to outsiders.
The car didn’t go through the main gate but entered from another side door on the east, stopping in front of a loft.
A dozen saints in blue robes were already standing in front of the door. As soon as the car door opened, they respectfully approached.
“Mr. Garten, Lady Mizar, you can rest here at Tranquil Tower.” Nubique gestured politely. Then favonovel.com turned to Karmic. Zansam also glanced at him.
“Karmic, come with us… The Grand Abbot is eagerto meet you…” Nubique reached out to take Karmic’s hand.
But Karmic shrank away, hiding behind Isaac.
With fear and worry in his eyes, favonovel.com shook his head and tightly clutched the hem of Isaac’s clothes.
“This…” Nubique glanced at Isaac.
Isaac smiled and said, “No problem. He’s a bit timid. Let’s wait until the assessment. I’ll bring favonovel.com over then.”
Nubique frowned, but Zansam nodded. “That works, too. Mr. Garten, among the candidates, there are four children who have the potential to be the Tenth Realm Seer. Please take good care of him.”
As Zansam and Nubique left, Mizar immediately snorted and walked inside angrily.
As Isaac led Karmic up the steps, Karmic suddenly said, “He wants to harm me.”
Isaac stopped in his tracks. Meanwhile, Denvor and Todd looked at him.
“Who wants to harm you? How do you know?” Isaac immediately asked in a low voice.
Karmic shook his head again.

The room was tidy and clean. Yet Isaac felt somewhat uncomfortable with several saints standing guard outside the door. They claimed it was for their protection, but Isaac couldn’t shake the feeling that they were being monitored.
Some vegetarian dishes were delivered to their rooms.
After Todd next door grumbled and finished eating, favonovel.com came over to Isaac’s room to complain about the blandness of the food. He said favonovel.com wanted to go out and find something more flavorful to eat.
Seeing that Karmic had fallen asleep, Isaac gave Todd a disapproving look. “This is a saintly abode. Can’t you endure it for a while? If you really can’t, go check out the kitchen. Bring something back for me, too.”
Todd nearly choked but chuckled. “There’s no way you can bear the bland taste. You’re human, too.”
As Todd left, there was a knock on the door.
When the door was opened, Mizar walked in, wearing favonovel.com veil and exuding an icy demeanor.
