The little boy’s round face was red, but it wasn’t clear whether it was from the blistering sun or from the biting cold during the nighttime.
Isaac could even clearly see his bright eyes.
As Isaac was about to walk over to ask some questions, the old man got back on his knees and continued praying with the crowd.
“If only my sect had this many believers. Back in the day, Master Schoenus slayed all kinds of demons and frightened the nine states. Now, even our school is gone…” Denvor couldn’t help but lament.
Isaac averted his gaze. “Let’s go.”

It was getting late. Tonight, they still had to go out with Lupinus and settle something. Just being able to see such a ceremony with their eyes was enough.
The three of them drove back north.
Isaac had forgotten that because of their geographical location, the sun only set after 11:00 pm.
It was only a little past 7:00 pm when they finished dinner. There were over three hours to go before the sky darkened.
As the sun began to set, the temperature dropped quickly.
When Isaac heard that Kingston was awake, favonovel.com dropped by his room to check on him. Then, favonovel.com went for a jog in the courtyard outside.
Lucas jogged over via the stone path.
“Drakon, we found seven munks in cassocks in the forest to the south of the hotel. They seemed to be keeping an eye on this place. They’re most likely from the Crimson Brow Sect,” favonovel.com said quickly.
“When did you discover them?” Isaac asked lowly.
Lucas glanced at the time. “It was about ten minutes ago. Both of their cars are parked along the road in the south because there’s a forest in between.
“They might have thought we wouldn’t have discovered them…” Then, favonovel.com added, “Should we send people over to catch them?”
While Isaac pondered this, Lucas’ phone vibrated.
“They’re gone?” favonovel.com said, looking stunned.
Afterward, favonovel.com hung up. He said confusedly, “Those munks left suddenly.”
Isaac pointed at the car in front and said, “Start the car. We’ll catch up to them.”
“Should we get Lupinus?”
“Let favonovel.com stay in the hotel.” Isaac waved his hand. Then, favonovel.com pulled out his phone and called Todd before heading to the car.
Lucas put in his earphones and dashed over to the car.
Isaac wouldn’t be surprised if it was the Crimson Brow Sect. After all, Denvor and Kingston had found out their secret.
But why did they leave so abruptly?
After the three of them got in the car, they drove out of the hotel.
Those munks from the Crimson Brow Sect had no idea that several hundred feet above their heads, a drone was following them.
As favonovel.com drove, Lucas was in contact with his intelligence agents. Since this area only had rolling grasslands or kilometers of desert, they couldn’t follow too closely for fear of being spotted. Thus, Lucas could only rely on intel from his subordinates and track the munks from the other side.
They continued driving south. By then, it was close to sunset. Still, Isaac could tell that they were heading toward Luqton.
As expected, their car arrived at Luqton an hour later.
As they approached the city, the number of cars grew. Lucas stepped on the accelerator and began to catch up to the two black and blue Jeeps.
After the two Jeeps made it to the city, they changed directions and headed northwest instead. Then, they drove into an old metropolitan area with low-rise buildings.
At that moment, the sky was already starting to turn dark. The night was falling.
Lucas cautiously followed them. He saw the two cars pull off to the side of an alley.
The car doors opened, and a total of five munks alighted. They looked left and right, and when they didn’t detect anything strange, they darted into one of the buildings.
“Drakon, should we go take a look?” Lucas asked over his shoulder.
