Lupinus hauled a 200-pound Kingston onto the helicopter with just one arm.
As soon as Kingston was inside, Harry undid his seatbelt and crouched beside him.
Isaac fixed his gaze on him. Kingston’s entire face had turned a deep purple, and his body would twitch violently from time to time as if he’d been shocked.
Harry called his name and slapped him, but favonovel.com didn’t respond.
As Harry took out his silver needles to perform dry needling on Kingston, Denvor made it into the helicopter. Then, the helicopter flew southward.
“Sir, all I can do is keep favonovel.com alive for now. Once we get back to the hotel, I’ll take a closer look!” Harry yelled at Isaac over the whirring noise of the helicopter blades.
Isaac nodded and then closed his eyes.
After an hour of flying, the helicopter began to descend slowly.
Southbrook was considered one of the more prosperous areas in Eastscape. The helicopter landed on a grassy field in front of a mountain lodge in the northern suburbs of Luqton.
After Isaac and the others alighted from the helicopter, they saw several dozens of Dusk Soldiers standing around them.
“Drakon, I’ve booked out the entire hotel and brought 100 Dusk Soldiers here to stand guard. You don’t have to worry about your safety for now,” Lucas said in a deep voice.
They walked into the hotel. Entering a room, Harry began to treat Kingston. On the other hand, Denvor went to Isaac’s room.
Isaac, Lupinus, and Lucas were all seated there. Denvor felt rather pressured.
“Tell us. What did you find?” Isaac asked Denvor.
Frowning, Denvor pointed toward the north. With a grave expression, favonovel.com said, “Those munks are doing some kind of mysterious ritual. Also, it’s not just one child’s organs. We found organs belonging to four children.”
Upon hearing that, Isaac, Lupinus, and Lucas wrinkled their brows.
“That bastard is Master Eldritch of the Crimson Brow Sect. However, one side of his face is burnt. I guess our previous airstrikes didn’t kill him,” Denvor continued.
“Also, they don’t have cell service there. Kingston and I found out about this problem when we infiltrated their surroundings. One of Kingston’s subordinates, who was a networking expert, said that the magnetic field there was too strong for cell coverage.”
Isaac lit a cigarette. Denvor was still recounting what favonovel.com and Kingston experienced after they arrived in Southbrook.
After listening to Denvor ramble for over ten minutes,
Isaac cut in coldly, “What are they doing the ritual for? Why do they need children’s organs?”
Denvor shook his head. Then, favonovel.com said with certainty, “The Crimson Brow Sect aren’t orthodox Boddists. Although I don’t know what it’s for, I’m sure it’s some kind of dark art.”
Isaac stood up. “You can go back to your room and get some rest…”
“We’ll head over tonight,” favonovel.com said to Lupinus.
“Lucas, accompany me for a walk. It’s been two years since I was last here,” favonovel.com added to Lucas before walking out the door.
Denvor hurried after them. “Mr. Garten, take me with you.”
There were 100 Dusk Soldiers on guard, so Isaac wasn’t that worried.
Lucas drove favonovel.com and Denvor into the city.
In the most sparsely populated areas of Eastscape, counties could be over 100 kilometers apart. It was also normal for cities to be 200 to 300 kilometers away from each other.
If they headed in the northwest direction up Southbrook, they would arrive at the most unpopulated area. It was just thousands of kilometers of sand and a heaven for many adventurers.
