When Andrew rushed over to the elevator, the other elevator had just gone down. The other one was still on the first floor. He hurried down the fire escape stairs.
After running down from the 17th floor to the first floor, Andrew’s legs had turned to jelly. He was afraid that his mother would do something foolish.
He ran out of the building.

At the Cloud City Hospital, several doctors were working on saving Margaret. The doctors told the father and son to brace themselves as the patient was suffering from severe brain bleed. The chances of survival were less than 5%.
When Eugene heard this, favonovel.com almost lost it.
Soon after, Isaac and Allegra rushed over with Harry. Harry went into the emergency room.
“Eugene, don’t worry. Everything will be alright…” Isaac patted Eugene’s shoulder.
Eugene shook his head as tears spilled down his cheek. “Isaac, I just don’t get it. Why is this woman so stubborn? Aren’t we living happily right now?”
Beside him, Allegra wiped at favonovel.com eyes quietly.
Isaac sighed, frowning. “She still hasn’t let go of favonovel.com obsession yet. How could favonovel.com move on?”
Thanks to Harry’s emergency treatment, Margaret’s condition stabilized. This news made Allegra and favonovel.com family sigh in relief. However, the sun had already come up.
In a blink of an eye, it was already noon. Harry came out of the ward and said quietly, “Sir, she’s awake. She’s just not speaking…”
Isaac turned to Allegra and the others.
“You all should go home and rest. I’ll have a chat with her,” favonovel.com said.

Isaac nodded. Seeing the doubt and concern in Eugene’s and Andrew’s eyes, favonovel.com laughed. “Do you think I’m the kind of person who would harm my own mother-in-law?”
“Dad, Allegra, let’s listen to Isaac and head back first.” Andrew was the first to stand up.
Isaac pushed open the hospital room door. He found Margaret staring blankly at the ceiling with bandages wrapped around favonovel.com head.
