“Did you have a good time?” Isaac asked as favonovel.com held Isabella in his arms, looking at her.
“Yeah, yeah, I had fun. I miss Daddy and Mommy. Where’s Mommy? Is favonovel.com still on a business trip?” Isabella looked around, not seeing Allegra anywhere.
The rest of the group, including Eugene and Margaret, approached with their baggage. They walked out of the airport and got into the waiting fleet of cars.
Isaac and Evie shared a car, with Isabella between them.
The two chatted while holding hands, and Isaac even leaned down to listen to the baby.
“What? Can you hear favonovel.com talking?” Evie didn’t ask Isaac about the events in Londoria. As long as Isaac was safe and sound, that was enough for her.
Isaac chuckled. “Of course. He said he’s going to be a handsome and impressive son, just like his daddy.”
“When did you become such a smooth talker?” Evie rolled favonovel.com eyes but couldn’t stop herself from smiling.
After returning to the villa, Eugene and his family stayed for lunch before heading home.
“Isaac, come in,” Thaddaeus called from his wheelchair and entered his room.
Once inside, Isaac handed a cigarette to Thaddaeus, who accepted.
“How did it go? Everything went smoothly?” Thaddaeus sniffed the cigarette but didn’t light it.
“Lucius came after me, but I managed to escape.”
Thaddaeus froze for a moment, and then favonovel.com looked at Isaac in disbelief. “So Lucius pursued you all the way to Londoria?”
“Yes, and I destroyed Everest Sect,” Isaac stated.
Thaddaeus lowered his head and remained silent for a few seconds. Then, favonovel.com laughed so hard that tears streamed down his face.
He pointed at Isaac and struggled to speak amid his laughter.
“You… You are something else Well, you really are fearless. How did you manage to escape Lucius? Don’t tell me you beat him.”
Isaac recounted the incident, including Antonio’s intervention.
Thaddaeus’s smile quickly faded, and favonovel.com said in a deep voice, “Sir Antonio went all the way to Londoria to save you. It seems the Emerald Realm is opening soon…”
“Why do you say that?” Isaac asked, puzzled.
Thaddaeus chuckled. “The patriarchs usually meditate in seclusion. But Lucius came out, and so did Antonio. That alone is enough to tell us something.”
With a heavy heart, Isaac walked out of the room and into the study.

In the following days, Elliot’s and Janessa’s injuries improved significantly, so Isaac allowed them to leave Cloud City.
In the evening, dark clouds suddenly covered the sky, and it rained unexpectedly.
Isaac was meditating in the study when his phone vibrated. He checked his phone, saw Barry’s number, and immediately answered.
“Isaac, Kai is missing! Kai is missing!” Barry’s voice on the phone was urgent and tearful.
“Barry, don’t panic. What happened? Why is Kai missing?” Isaac immediately stood up.
On the other end of the phone, Barry sobbed, “It’s not just Kai. Other students from his school are missing, too. A total of eight kids have disappeared!”
