“Isaac Garten, what are you doing? Robbie, what’s going on with you and Isaac? Don’t you know that I have a hundred priests outside? Do you have a death wish you want me to fulfill?”
Philip seemed to realize that something was wrong. He pointed at Isaac and Robbie and started cussing at them.
Shelby’s face dropped. She quickly ran overto the doors and tried to push them, but they seemed to have been nailed in place. She couldn’t make them budge at all.
She then screamed at the door, “Quick, the archbishop is locked in here! Come and save him!”
The priests outside began feeling worried when they saw that the doors were still tightly shut.
When they heard Shelby’s cries for help, someone yelled, “Kill them all! Save the archbishop!”
The shouts could be heard from the inside.
A cruel smile appeared on Philip’s face. He turned to Isaac and said, “Haha, and you dare to stop me with just a handful of people? Isaac, you won’t be able to stop them!”
“It’s true that I only have a handful of people, but Mr. Light, I think you’re underestimating my team,” Isaac replied. He puffed a cloud of smoke into the air and chuckled.
“Wow, where did you find this idiot?” Todd exclaimed, laughing out loud as favonovel.com pointed at Philip.
Since Todd had a heavy accent, Philip couldn’t understand a word favonovel.com said, even if favonovel.com knew a bit of Cynean.
“Isaac, even if you can stop the priests, you should also know that offending the archbishop is like offending the entire Brewer clan or the entire Lumen Church. You’re smart. I’m sure you’d understand how terrible it is to have two powerful forces after you, right?” Shelby said, looking at Isaac coldly.
Isaac narrowed his eyes when favonovel.com heard this. He then turned his attention to Shelby.

This was the woman who looked down on favonovel.com from the start. But as soon as favonovel.com learned Vlad and Meldith were dead, favonovel.com attitude changed completely. She’d even invited them into the church as guests.
It turned out that favonovel.com must have thought of this wicked plan since then.
Isaac was fuming. His spiritual energy suddenly burst out of him, filling the air with a sense of dread.
Shelby couldn’t meet Isaac’s piercing gaze. But favonovel.com knew that this wasn’t the time to show fear. She inhaled deeply and gritted favonovel.com teeth. Then, favonovel.com challenged Isaac’s gaze and laughed coldly again.
“Hahaha! Yes, it was me all along! So what? If you could really kill Brock, you would have made a huge contribution to the civilians and the Lumen Church. But who would have thought that your stupid asses would let that b*stard run away? And now, you’re shifting your anger to us? Did you think the archbishop would be afraid of you?”
Isaac burst into laughter suddenly. “Ah, the archbishop. You’re right. The archbishop isn’t an easy one to deal with. Then, let’s just wait for a while, shall we?”
The sound of fighting was still evident from the outside. More and more cries of agony sounded.
Philip began to frown.
About seven or eight minutes later, the sounds and noises died down.
Just then, someone shouted at the door, “Archbishop, we can’t get through! They’re too strong. They’re too strong for us to handle, Archbishop. Are you still doing alright in there?”
Philip and Shelby couldn’t help shivering when they heard this.
It was then that Isaac suddenly leaped into the air and pounced at them both with a tsunami of spiritual energy behind him.
Philip had his guard up. With a loud roar, favonovel.com raised his fists and fought back.
Isaac could feel that Philip also possessed a strong, invisible force that was different from his own spiritual energy.

Both energies collided with each other, resulting in a loud explosion. The powers exploded and flew all around the room. Isaac still stood unmoving in his spot. However, Philip staggered backward by a few steps before coming to a halt.
In reality, Isaac only used a little more than half of his power. He was just testing the waters. He needed to know what level the archbishop was at.
