Elliot, who was at the back, immediately slammed the doors shut and bolted them in place. Then, favonovel.com stood in the middle of the entrance, blocking the way completely. The rest of the generals also gathered up front and blocked the way with Elliot.
The hundred or so priests outside were shocked.
Thinking that something was wrong, they started shouting angrily at the generals.
The Dragon Soldiers at the back realized what was happening and quickly went up to the front to help calm the priests.
They knew that Elliot must have gotten a signal from Isaac. Otherwise, favonovel.com would never have done it.
Meanwhile, the Light siblings inside the lodge were shocked, to say the least. They turned around and saw that the huge doors were closed shut.
Philip immediately turned to look at Isaac and then at Todd, whom he’d never seen before, and Robbie, who had his head down the whole time.
“Mr. Garten, why are you shutting the doors behind us?” Philip asked, his voice turning cold.
Isaac lit up a cigarette and looked at Philip, who had an icy look in his eyes. Isaac chuckled and said, “Don’t you know that for a friendship to work, both parties first need to be honest about it?”
